Hey guys. Who can I contact if I found someone infringing GW copyright? As in, actually plagiarizing work from GW, and earning a profit off of it?
As a GW fan, I can't let this crap stand, so know which address to contact?
What to do if I found someone plagiarizing GW?

Options for contact (because plagiarism is just plain rude crude and socially unacceptable):
Email a report: [email protected] (include who what when where and how they are profiting from the endeavor)
Tweet your find: http://twitter.com/ncsoft_support (this is probably the first thing i would do if i actually tweeted, it seems like the fastest way to throw up a red flag)
Call NCsoft for the personal touch: Monday through Friday, 12 noon to 5 p.m. CT, by calling (512) 225-6359
These are all NC soft, not AreaNet but I'm sure the matter will get handled.

Had this issue before as well.
Saw another game released, that copied everything from the GW2 original trailer and used it as their own, claiming they made it. And I mean, everything.
Reported it to Anet, and I got an email back saying it was similar, but it wasn't the same. :S
So no idea what they will do about it. Guessing my idea of plagiarism is different than there's.

When reporting plagarism also keep in mind that some material is licensed by ANet/NCSoft. Some of the music, for example, may be owned by the composer but licensed to ANet for non-exclusive use in Guild Wars, which means the composer can license it to other companies and for other uses also.
I believe some of the concept art is also either owned by the artist and licensed to ANet or ANet owns it and licenses it for other works. For instance, if I recall correctly a singer several years ago used some of the concept art for house zu heltzer as the cover for her cd. It was done legally and with permission of either the artist or ANet.

Yeah, that was funny.
But I'm ANET was just letting it slide because, really, do you honestly think anyone is taking that game serious or that the company is gonna make any money at all off that game?
