$10 says that the first few people to post a mini are lying to confuse people.

Simple, picture or it didn't happened. (of mini in inventory AND near your character, at least to make shoops harder to do, but i don't think anyone would bother)

My gift is late, so I wouldn't expect anybody else has gotten theirs yet either.

My 1st char reached 72 months earlier today, still no present yet even after logging in on several different occasions.

They are not in the game yet or they would have been already leaked from the .dat file. Its also possible no mini this year but instead something else.

The leap year bug might have been fixed from 365 days to a date match.

Developers could have characters created on the 26th and players with early access the 27th. In past birthday gifts were calculated on 365 days so leap year pushed birthdays too early. Your character might say 72 months but it was not created 72 months ago because a year is 365.25 days. If that was fixed to a date match than tonight at midnight would be first for players. However, developers characters should be out now so be on the look out.

They copy paste on the wiki for events all the time (because it's normally correct). Until something hits GuildWars.com or people start getting presents I wouldn't get too hyped up over specifics.

Well 6 hours till midnight! That will hopefully give us the answers.

Not offical till its on the website because anyone can can edit wiki. But my biggest question is why is the 6th starting so late this year, when in the past years it has started before the 28th, yet this year it starting on the 28th? The only reason i could think is that Anet has maybe something a little extra special this year or they have gotten lazier.

In my opinion to buffer Easter from the Birthday and a small possibility to provide extra time to finish new content for the bithday event.

As for finish new content, i believe it was already said that WOH will come after 6th year, so at this point i'm not sure what to expect from Anet.

Hilarious how people are making so many assumptions. Wait for the annoucement. For all we know they have something else in mind.

True but the big question is, what? I really also expect mini pets. But thats good to know that they are going to add a little more. But ya that basically a confirming it.
