Hi all,

For ages, people have been running around showing off their big weps, but i want to try a small sword on my monk because i think it would look really cute on her. But i have no idea what it would be. Is there anything smaller than the Short Sword?

Thanks x)

The ogre slaying knife.

That probably doesn't count because it's not moddable though. The golden phoenix blade might be a little longer (perhaps; I'm just looking at wiki pictures) but it's thinner

The Jade Sword is long but very delicate looking, which is why most players don't like it.

I would say the ogre slaying knife is indeed the smallest.

The Jitte is definately the smallest practical sword in the game if your thinking of overall visibility rather then just length.

I use a gladius on all of my wars.. but a small, more elegant sword for a petit char is the Katana.

A shinobi blade is pretty short and extremely thin... they're also a bit hard to come by though.

And that's exactly why I like it and why my Monk wields a Jade Sword. It looks more ornamental than most swords in the game.

Or you could go with a Fiery Gladius or Elemental Sword, they would look nice on a caster I think and neither are exactly huge.

Afaik thin does not equal small people.

But shortest minus the Green would be Canthan Shortsword or Gilded Edge

I am uncertain, looks like several people here know what the smallest is. I use a bramble sword. It's pretty short, it does have a fairly large ornamental type handle. But imho it looks pretty good on a petite female toon.

The smallest sword is the Ogre Slaying Knife, but the most practical ones is a different question.

The Ascalon Razor is pretty small too, and it's available as a gold inscribable from Nick.

Jitte are a personnal favorite for monks as it's defensive and not quite a sword, gladius (the default pvp sword) has a basic feelin ans is relatively small, or Jade for more ceremonial type.
