Hi,
I have noticed that the new high res player textures in outposts graphics option keeps turning itself off each time I exit Guild Wars. Is it just me or is there a bug with the option?
Thanks
High res textures in town wont stay on!

In Black Ops, when the DLC came out, the devs forgot to make "hide DLC content" for servers stick as well. A bugfix later on allowed the option to stay in the config file.
So this sounds similar. They probably have to do a hotfix to allow the option to stay checked in the config portion of the dat file.

Decided to check this for you:
When exiting the game via normal means, e.g. F12 -> Log out -> Exiting the game while logged out, It stays saved.
When pressing the "x" while in windowed mode, it stays saved.
When pressing Alt+F4, it stays saved.
I have been unable to find a way to get it to un-check itself, no matter how I close guildwars.
Do you have any command line options on guildwars?

I have now realised that the option on the graphics settings when accessed via the main GW login screen before signing in always un-ticks itself. Now when you login and go in game and then open the options up it is always ticked and working fine.
It's just the higher resolution option in towns because I have tried adjusting other options and the changes are always reflected on the options screen if accessed via the login screen.
Seems like a bug of sorts to me but its working when I login.

In game - go to Menu, then Options, then the Graphics tab. At the very bottom of the resultant box there is a button marked Auto Detect, and just above that is the checkbox for high rez textures in town. Be prepared for a bit of stuttering at first, when you enter a town/outpost, but it goes away as you download new textures.
