i dunno whats worse the short connecting time only to get error code 013 or the long connecting time only to get error code 013?! *sighs* please fix this soon ;/

First tried to type something in guild channel, it didn't show.
Then thought a restart of gw would fix that.
Can log in, but when i select a character it doesn't load and shows an error 13 instead ... eventually after about 2 minutes.
Euro also here.
Hope a solution is on it's way.

Trying to get into RBR right now, I got a few "Reattempting connection to the server" errors, some classifying themselves as code 13, others as 15.

AGAIN! i get soo close to logging in. get to the loading screen 0% then error 040. come on anet please fix this! D:

I get error 013 when trying to log on to characters that are in the GH. When I try to get on a character in an outpost, I get the loading screen but it sits at 0% and eventually gives me error 040. I live in EU, and was last playing on international server for what it's worth.
Hope this gets fixed soon.

At least I am not the only one getting one of the ambiguous looking error codes on login, I was starting to panic that I had been accessed from another computer or that my account had become bugged! I was in Urgoz - team wiped and got this error upon trying to return to outpost.. must have been like this for more than an hour now.
It's all probably down to the end of the birthday celebration. Things like this usually end pretty swiftly however and without the need for an update.
Although I heard "Winds of change", was supposed to be announced after the birthday celebration so it could have something to do with that... (heres to hoping!)

I know there are people on American servers getting the issues as well as Europeans. I've personally had a slew of 15s with JQ, a load of 35s, 40s and godknows whatelse. I'm not logging off until it's fixed so I've parked myself on 9 rings and will be hoping for the best. But quite honestly, trying to do anything seems to be a pain. Lot of people experiencing really bad lag as well judging from reports in AC.

Same problem here on 2 accounts (mine and my brother's), in Belgium : code 013 and once 040 ; my account go deconnected as well (but that may actually be due to my computer having problems anyway)

been trying for 3 hours now. tried restarting comp relogging in closing gw on and off still nothing. i really hope they fix it soon or least kick us to a us district. ><
edit: oh look they manage to chage whats on sale in their shop but not fix this? ooo nice and i wonder if this is connected..

yep code 007,013, can login but cant load a map. ive had these issues ever since the last update.
well, its Nonet behind the wheel, no real surprises.
what about fixxing a F-ING option to choose what server/district you want to log on to in the login screen or character screen...obviously the eu servers is having severe issues, think i've counted connectivity issues from atleast 6 different countries.
they're far too busy making discount offers when they should concentrate on fixxing issues instead.

I find it rather pathetic that they can't even add a simple " We are currently experienced technical problems, we're sorry and we'll try to fix it as fast as possible" to login screen.....like really...is that TOO MUCH to ask?

Just managed to log in so I've quickly switched to the Asian servers. That helped yesterday, but I switched back to Europe when I thought it was fixed :\.

Well something REALLY weird just happened.
I have left my GW login screen on the error message "unable to connect please try again later"..
And I just had the PM sound several times while minimized
Looks like there aint anything wrong with the chat servers as someone is trying to speak to me in game... Bizzare.

same finally got back in and switched to asian faster then togo chases that kid in the cho's estate! now if it will stay fixed thats the issue...
