This my design for a new party window to make our lives a little bit easier.

With this you can view the skills equipped by all party members in a single window with the ability to save or view its template code for each one. Also you can view the equipment they wear in a seperate window by clicking the grey button next to the skills. Another feature is the reordering buttons (the yellow triangles), with these you can reorder the party members without the need to kick and invite them again.

I hope you like my idea.

Even if creepers will be spying on all my stuff, I can careless. This is a interesting addition that I think would be great, and honestly Don't know why it is not in game yet.

LOVE the idea. No more need to say "ping" or argue for someone to show something. If they were to do anything to the window, make it this.

i really like this idea. it seems practical so you could maybe notice how someone could better put their skill pts or maybe a better skill.
it would also help stop annoying people like the OP in this thread.

Overall i think its a good idea.

Can everyone see it or just the Leader?

Either way, /signed.

Everyone of course. But only the leader can use the reordering buttons.

It will cause problems in PvP(and in some cases PvE, especially Speed clears)

Beginner players wanting to start PvP or a player wanting to try his own build without being kicked by overzealous leader/teammates will suffer as a result

Although its a good idea, but it is not friendly for new comers for the game or in some cases, better experienced players. I propose implementing this only for GvGs

Overzealous players will always ask "Hi, ping plz" either in PvP or SCs or wherever. And if it comes to hide our builds instead of helping others with this then its not worth playing the game. The game is based on team play so seeing all the builds in the party newcomers will understand it better how each player's build comes together and experienced players can make suggestions to them with no ping spam as Apache215 said before.

I kind of agree.

At the same time, if I were to have a build I didn't want to share for whatever the reason, I now have no say in the matter if I want to play with others. I would like it if the person could have a button to display their bar or not while still keeping their name on the screen to make reording and viewing the rest of the bars easier.

i would add an option to toggle it on or off, so you dont always have to show your build. if yours is off, others cant see your build.

would help alot for setting up gvgs and scs, no need to ping each player manulaly

/signed I'll admit I'm a bit of a build nazi but this helps me make suggestions insted of that stubborn guy who just wont ping so I have to kick him for the better of the team. I can't risk someone who has three usless skills and no elite.

i would sign this were this LOTRO where players are cool to each other even after party wipes. Too bad that the GW playerbase is incapable(for the most part) of being kind to each other.

/notsigned even though your design is legit. props to you for that.

Why is it that the communities always seem to design better things than the developers themselves?

A good way to organize parties, and to see what each party member skill bar is. Option to toggle on/off in showing the skill bar should be added too.

but on a side note, this kind of forces people to run appropriate skills. When you see healers running healing breeze on their skill bar, they like using healing breeze, but you don't, it creates a problem =.=

Because coming up with an idea is infinitely easier than implementing it. For all you know ANet have had this idea. Plus, you have to weigh up it's impact on the community, I'd bet the Guru demographic are much more "build Nazi" than the average player and yet even here there is some opposition.

No no no! Except for speed clears and HA team builds I would never group with anyone again. Although it's easy for someone to "steal" your build by just watching to see what skills you use in an explorable area, it at least makes them go through the trouble and then they don't know your attributes. I have several builds that I developed myself which I will not ping or share with people (especially pugs) under any circumstances.

I like Pugs not Drugs' idea about being able to turn it off, however.

I don't get why you would care if a pug you'll likely never see again is using the same build as you. Also, I can almost guarantee you someone got there before you, unless you build is truly awful and no one's ever thought to use it before, in which case someone stealing it is the least of your worries.

Community is much bigger, has much more play time logged to see the flaws and weak areas.
