Heya, another techquestion!
(though texmod does work^^)
whenever im about to start texmod,it starts as soon as i open the map i got all mods&texmod in,my computer gets very slow, and almost freezes.
i cant click anything whilst it loads, at it makes the loading fail, and i gotta start over..this can take up to 5 minutes, and gets very annoying.
Ive tried to reinstall it, put it in other places etc.
asked my friends, it doesnt take longer than any other program for them.
tips?
any solution?
thanks for any replies!
Texmod makes computer freeze

Not really enough info to go on here...
My two guesses would be either (1) you've got a firewall or antivirus blocking (or heavily scrutinizing) texmod's operations, or (2) your PC simply lacks the resources to handle the additional load.

I used to have the same problem. Absolutely anything worked just fine on my computer except loading up texmod. some of my friends seem to have the same issue. looks like with certain computers texmod just loads faster/slower than others.
amount of ram and processor speed dont seem to have an impact cause even my old build had 6 gigs of ram with an i7 920 and it would hang with texmod.

yep had the same issues on my old machine...dual core et.al....PART of my problem was my anti virus (which had to check all of the whole texmod folder before it would even OPEN the file). part was also due to my dying graphics card.
so check your virus software (use task manager to see if its running --using big %).

Steam and some anti-virus apps are known to have problems with GW. In the case of Steam, if you have Steam running in the background - there is an icon in Systray - try exiting Steam and also setting Steam not to start automatically.
