Auto-accept trade?

A couple of times, I've clicked Trade with someone, had the trade window open, made an offer, and then just had them sit there for ages, as if they're AFK.

Is there an auto-accept trade option I've missed? Or some kind of auto-trade mod? Or are these people just pretending to be AFK?

Im not entirely sure about this.... however I think it is something like this: When you click trade you get trade window right away, regardless of the one with whom you are interested in trading with have clicked to view that trade. So I do not think they are pretending anything and they really are afk and still have that view or not option on their screen if they was there to look at it.
Just my guess though.
This happens to me too btw.

There is another option

Sometimes i am in spamadan offering a trade, having an open party window looking for trades myself.

Some people will run up to me and open trade without first sending a whisper

As i am constantly clicking the partywindow to scroll down it happens that the trade confirmation window will stay behind the party window so i don't see it.

Also some people are not aware of the party window.
They do not know, or care enough to uncheck the "seek party" option for trades they are offering when they go afk for a bit.
You see some people changing the message to WTS afk, which also works

Also, if you Whisper the afk they should receive a ping..trading can get boring.

In one case, I did send a whisper after the trade closed, and got no reply... Maybe they just considered me rude for trading without asking first and decided to ignore me some more?

It could just be that your own trade window opens straight away, I hadn't even considered that.

the ping for a whisper is much louder than the open trade sound. Make sure you do a whisper in case they are only listening for that

You'll find most of the time that unless to whisper someone to initiate a trading session you will be ignored, especially if they are otherwise not involved in a B/S listing in the Party window. Every once in a while, I will have people attempt a random trade with me with no indication from me that I am interested in any transactions, which I find highly annoying and prompts me to ignore the person.

Best rule of thumb is always check the Party Window to see who has active interest in trades and never randomly whisper or open a trade prompt with someone unless they have indicated a desire to conduct a transaction.

I would get used to always whispering people with an I'll buy or a how much before you open trade, if nothing else people take it as a kindness and will be more likely to deal favorable for you.
I also whisper people when I want to do business with them. Simply because I want to make sure that they're not AFK. If they respond, great. If they don't, I'm not going to waste my playing time waiting around for them.
