Is this kind of program legal??

Hi, I just saw a GW video when the player had sort of ''free cam'', well just see it and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Anyway, my question is if it is legal, or you can get banned for it. (It would be really cool to spot weird places in gw)
Thanks in advance!

Not sure but it could be very well a bannable offense. I dont know how they did it and if it requires adjusting the game. I would not try it to be honest.
Oh and just a warning for the others seeing this movie, make sure your sound is of. My ears are still bleeding from the pos "music".

Once again, the best advice is to ask Support at [email protected]. Put 3rd Party Program Question in the subject line so it will get directed to someone who can answer. They will tell you they do not offer support (in case it messes up your game program, they won't help), but should also be able to tell you if the program is forbidden.

I won't try it anyway, i don't want all the years of effort wasted, was just asking how they did it.
Thanks!

Wow, haven't seen this one yet...hmm...
I know that GWCamUnlocker is legal, as all it lets you do is zoom out about 5x normal max zoom. But this allows you to move the camera anywhere, so it's unlocking your movement from your character. Very possible that its illegal.

It reminded me of Halo Reach in Froge World with the little orb.
But yea, I would ask them before trying it. I could see it making vanqs easier though.

its the same idea.
it would however be illigal if you go off map and all exploration you made using this tool ould add up, that would just be unfair.
but i see no harm in seeing the world from a different angle ^^

that is incredible, looking for the last group at the end of a vq would be sooo much easier :P, ask support!

Means you can survey the whole map and keep an eye on splits in GvG I suppose.

as hobbs mentioned, i don't think this is legal, as you can very well in GvG let the flagger or so run this program and like inform the team on where the enemy is... as the rules in GW go like: cheating means having adventages over other people... and i think in that case you deffinatly have an adventage
