my system is xp and my card doesn't support these features so theres no workaround in control panel, no hidden option etc., so then looked in the net and found Virtual audio cable to emulate those features, tested it recording music im playing and it does quite well so, problem is i cant do that on guild wars for some reason.

the program makes an emulated audio cable, lets say cable 1 can be used for input and output as well, then i set the cable 1 for both input and output control panel audio default in properties instead of my normally realtek hd audio output and " " " " input so record now works like stereo mix, so then i run a program called repeater wich sends the sound from cable 1 input to realtek hd output to hear what im supposed to hear when using realtek hd output.

problem is this doesnt work with guild wars as it doesnt like cable 1 as output because maybe for the audio format or i dont know

any help would be very appreciated

Buy a splitter and double ended wire, plug the splitter into your audio out and the wire into one of the two plugs that are now part of the splitter. The splitter is now two audio out ports instead of one. Plug the other end of the wire back into your audio in/mic. Now you can put speakers or headphones in the unused port on that splitter.

I had to do this before as well because my previous machine didn't have the stereo mix option.
