Finished characters
Penfro's Folly shows Aero's pre-Searing monk traveling through Wizard's Folly. You have to use your imagination to get the full effect, because I am far too lazy to paint detailed backgrounds.
Canthan Couture features Tommy's monk in a more sophisticated light. This was always my favorite hairstyle in Guild Wars, because the long ponytails form a pleasing heart shape.
Laughing Asura features the most adorable /laugh emote ever!
Crippling Shot features Valerie, a Luxon ranger with her Ironwing Flatbow.

Araiia's dancing dervish I found I'm not so good with moving hair. I'll finish this once I find a good technique for that.
Ayzu (v1.2) A character created by one of my guildies. I still plan to revisit his outfit at some point.

Oooh thx so much for the awesome pic of Penfro. I really like your style, she looks so delicate and feminine. Is it ok if I post it in other forums (showing off)?

Now it's time to find someone else to use as a subject for my next work... Would anyone like to volunteer?

As for a volunteer, if you're up for another monk, I'd sure love you go loose on Lucy. Here are some pictures done by other artists aswell as a charactersheet. I prefer not to use screenshots from in game As for clothing and weapons, I'll leave that up to you, but I really like some sort of a Kimono, and her favorite weapons are a Bo-staff and a Paper fan (or a nice decorated one ). Feel free to go nuts!

And maybe you could try to use a little more shading, it looks a bit flat (Or did you want it like that?)

@Dinkleberg: If you look reeeeeally closely you can see some shading on the back leg and the upper parts of the arms and neck. :P I can see how better shading could make a piece feel more dramatic, so I will keep your advice in mind. Thank you!

I actually saw that pic on dA before I saw this thread! Nice work, especially the lower legs/ankles/feet.
If you're still taking character suggestions, I'd love to see how you interpret my baby Dervish!

@Araiia: Thanks for the kind words. I am always afraid to draw sandals because I am too scared of failing to even attempt toes. I honestly cannot remember the last time I tried toes. The result was likely so horrid I blocked the experience from my mind!

I can't draw toes (or the general feet area). The best I can do is make some ambiguous bumps and hope that it suggests the presence of individual toes!

But if you prefer to keep it GW related. Here she is as she is in GW:
I have to say, your style is simple, yet attractive.

When I make animated cartoons I find it is often better to use simple characters - especially when the majority of your viewers are watching on smaller screens. Simple keeps it clean. I am glad you find my style attractive, though. I'm working on paying attention to detail so my still paintings feel like they have more life. We'll see how it goes!

I'm curious to see what peoples' monitor sizes are these days. It's been ages since I've seen anyone with a 800x600 monitor (excluding those super tiny netbook PCs which don't have the graphics capability of running GW at 1 fps, of course.)

Instead of cleaning my kitchen this evening I decided to practice shading. My next piece, Canthan Couture, is featured below. What are your thoughts? I agree the shading makes the piece look less flat. I really do need to tidy up my kitchen now. I'm expecting a guest in one hour!

@Tommy's: I'm glad you like it, Tommy's!
@Hydralisk: Actually I did think to myself perhaps it was a bit large, but then I realized all the hair required to make a giant heart-shaped loop in the back may make it stick out a bit extra.

Her hair should probably be doing something fun, but as it's a shorter hair style I'm not sure of the best way to show that. Suggestions?

Actually I was working all weekend & I still don't know what to do about her hair...so I started a GW2 guardian. I will play more with Araiia's hair tonight!
