So I'm almost ready to start working on the vanquisher/cartography titles and decided to download and test out texmod before i got started.
I have used texmod with the cartography mods before, but on a different computer.
After downloading, unzipping, and trying to use any of the 4 cartography mods, I get the texmod error message.
GW runs through texmod w/o a mod selected.
My laptop:
HP Pavilion dm4
Core i5 430m, 2.27GHz
4GB RAM
Windows 7 Home Premium
What I have tried to get it working:
Add texmod to the exclusion list of my AV
Delete my AV (still currently uninstalled)
Turn off Windows Firewall
Restart my computer (multiple times)
redownload Texmod, the .tpf files, and also tried other mods (none worked)
Highlighted the texmod package
Selected GW.EXE from programs and not the shortcut
Run everything as Admin (though I have given myself full admin privileges so this shouldn't really affect anything)
Uninstalled and reinstalled GW, and used the -image command to download all maps
Thank you for any additional input

You do right click texmod.exe and than hit Run as Administrator right?
That's different than being the administrator.

Yes, I right click-"Run as admin" and still get the error message

Sounds like a bad mod.
Let's try process of elimination. Make a very simple mod using 1 texture. Test that. If it works, the problem is the mod, not texmod or your system.

As stated in the original post, its not the mod. I've tried many, mostly from the wiki page but some from other sources (including working ones sent from a friend), and none of them work. GW will run through texmod, however.
