Hey.
I'm interested in getting a Korean tag for my guild.
First of all, I know that you can't create one by yourself, without having a Korean account.
So i was browsing around the services section and found someone offering this service.
I looked around the Internet, and found some Korean characters I like through wikipedia.
Now my question is : How can i make them show in ingame Chat ?
I already tried simple copy & paste, and also saving it in a template code outside of GW.
But they didn't seem to be showing.
Is it because of the wrong region, that I can't paste them ? Or does that mean that my chosen characters are not available ?
For better understandings : ᅔᅳᅕ
These were the characters i tried to use.
If they are not available - is there a list or something, where I can check which characters i can use ?

hmm looks like you're trying to use obsolete units of korean characters(jamo), not the whole letter (english equiv of a syllable). i'm not sure if jamo unicode supports pieces of letters as opposed to whole letters(not to mention obsolete units). you may want to choose actual letters (the full syllable, not just units) since those copy paste to the UI just fine.
for places to look (without learning how to write korean), skim through korean websites looking for letters you want, or ask a korean friend to draw you some simple korean ascii art =p
or just stick to english. orz

Windows needs language packs such as Chinese. Never seen a Korean language pack but should only need the Chinese pack.
Search for Windows language packs.

You can download Korean language packs from Microsoft, and they're usually included on the Windows CDs but not installed by default.
Search for "install IME" and your Windows version on Google.

Or you could just stick with normal western letters.
I sincerely hope they limit all names to A-Z in GW2 so that we won't have the idiotic names we see in GW.
(Obviously people in the appropriate game regions should be able to use the letters used in their language).

make it to where the person who creates the guild cannot transfer ownership of the guild until it is at least two weeks old.
