Catacombs of Kathandrax - is it possible to..

Just wondering if it is possible to complete this dungeon with an Elementalist - Rit Spammer and a Discord Team?

I am looking to keep doing this farm to get the 170 odd hammers it is for Eternal Survivor.

(Do i have to complete it in HM to be able to get the hammers?)

you get hammers in NM also, it is a quest item.
Anything is possible in HM and NM now with the 7 hero teams. So your idea is viable.

Just take skills like Pi, shelter and ward vs elements to counter the fire damage and you will be fine.

Too much fire damage for minions. Besides, don't be lazy, there are much better choices than discord

Do vaettirs or boxing, you can achieve in one or two days what would take months with your method. (170 runs????) And even if you screw up, it's not a big deal anymore.

Yes, discord will be fine. I have done it plenty in nm and hm using discord. However, without running this like on a sin it is going to take soooooooo long to get the 179 hammers needed to max survivor. I would suggest vaettir farming. There is a post somewhere on guru that lists a build for every profession to be able to do it. Using scrolls people generally can get it in about 3 hours.

following up on songbringer this is the thread that shows how to vaettir farm on any profession.

You could just fill up books and play the game it takes just 3 of each turned in at once.
