Some of you around here may remember STARNEWS23 from way back in the day (four to five years ago). It was a machinima series designed to present "news" based on current events in Guild Wars. When we were putting videos out, we were frequently on the front page of Guru and other GW fansites, people would throw questions to Gaile Gray (who was community relations lead at the time) about us and more.

When we were putting videos out, we were part of a pretty active guild of kids and younger guys who were always up to something. Now, as the beta for GW2 is on the horizon and we (HAPPYcat Productions) are building up momentum and material for season two, which will be within GW2, we're finding that the accounts associated with STARNEWS23 are the only accounts that have been on in the guild for months.

Being said, I'm still conferring with my colleague a bit on this, but we're looking to see what is out there for guilds. We're looking for a relatively big guild with a lot of active members who are expecting to carry over to Guild Wars II when it releases. Personally, I'd be into a guild that does just about everything, but in a non-competitive way (we're not prepared to do hard-core GvGing or anything. I personally would love to do pvp on a team). My primary account (out of three) is rank three in HoH, the other two accounts have essentially accomplished nothing and my fiancee's account (my fiancee being the woman behind most of the female voices in our series) might be rank one, if even.

We're eastern, so the bulk of our play time, which might be on three to four days a week, would be from around 7pm to midnight eastern (4pm to 9pm pacific).

Wherever we go, we'd unfortunately obligate the invitation of four total accounts into the guild. We only use two of them, but in the event that we needed to get onto the other two, we've found that it is easiest to keep them all together. Also, I imagine we'll be asking for a lot of "actors" for future episodes when things get rolling again.

The best way to contact me would probably be via PM here. If you want to try to track me down online, add "Star News" as a friend or whisper "Chemo Ethiopian IL."
