0% connecting screens and random ingame lag spikes

Recently, I have been experiencing really terrible lag spikes 007's and 0% connecting screens. It happens in bouts from 30 mins to 4-5 hours. I know it is not my internet as I have no troubles doing things which take up quite alot of bandwidth when im not playing guild wars and when I stop playing due to this problem.

It makes playing gvg extremely difficult and I know that sometimes when I experience a really big lagspike others in my party also complained at that exact moment.

I have sent a support email to anet but unfortunately my email is unable to reply to messages but that is a whole other issue :P. If i do manage to get that fixed I will update this post with their reply.

I have also checked all of my ports that are needed for gw and they are open.

I am also able to log into a different account into LA ad1 and other american outposts when I cannot connect into my main acc.

When I am having these problems of 0% loading screens I can get to character selection screen but no further. It also takes an abnormally long time to connect to anet.

I have tried router resets, ports and guild wars' own computer and network testing app. Nothing seems to come up as any problems on my side. Even if there is no fix I was wondering if anyone would have any information on why this is happening.

I have also spoken to a few friends and they said they are experiencing the same lag from a few months back, more specifically with the introduction of flux.

If you have any information and/or fixes then post here, everything would be greatly appreciated and I never usually have these issues.

Thanks, Zrox

Currently experiencing the exact same problem, everyday since thursday (though luckily not mAT). Only when trying to enter gh or other european districts, american play fine.

Midway through emailing support, so far they've told me all the standard shit like turn off your firewall, despite me telling them i'd already uninstalled it...

Currently i can get into euro districts but getting consistent lag outs of 5k+ ping Only seems to happen to me in the evening starting around 5-6gmt, going on for hour or so.

Hope they fix it soon as i'm certain it's nothing to do with our end, GvG is impossible atm.

Yes, it has definately become more frequent since then and as you say I do experience the same problems at around the same time every day 5PM gmt. It all just depends on how long it lasts, today it only lasted half an hour and im back to normal 30-150 ping :/

Trusty old english internet having an issue somewhere then.

Mine still hasn't fixed itself, back to the old 0% screens atm, hopefully in time for the AT ><

Almost all European districts and Euro Guild Halls have been experiencing stuff like this for many months now. it's not like a brand-new issue. i play only in american districts, international or asian ones. i never get locked into a town or locked out of my guild hall, and i don't experience 5k+ pings and err-007's when i play in any district but european ones.

True, however they're usually been much more widespread problems for all european players. Also usually all the time, not specifically around 5gmt onwards for up to a few hours.

The problems i'm currently experiencing, none of the other euro/uk players in my team are. The problems you previously mention everyone i knew couldn't get into halls.

Sadly we cannot avoid european districts in GvG when this happens.

I had this exact same problem at one point. I figured out a way to fix it. I'm not sure of the reason it's happening but, if you go into your router settings and clone your mac address, the issues will stop. If anyone needs help doing this let me know i'll try to walk you through it.
