That's right everyone! Its already been 1 year since gw-en.com (the Gaming World Entertainment Network) was launched under our official website! What a crazy year its been!!! We want to celebrate and thank everyone for all their support this past year by throwing a party!

Here is what we have for prizes so far:

  • - Everlasting GWEN Tonic ( YESSSSS)
  • - 3 or more Everlasting 6th year tonics
  • - 2 or more Armbraces
  • - 4 Oppressor Weapons
  • - 4 Aion Wings
  • - 1 Unded Eye Of Janthir

We have tons of prizes gathered.... hoarded, if you will..........but...those will be released in due time...for now check out our Competition we are running through the Month of June! Deadline is June 25th so get started quickly!



Requirements:
  • 30 Seconds to a Minute long
  • Must include something about GWEN, Guild Wars and/or our great gaming Community
  • Music is not needed in the background...but can help!
  • We must be able to hear your voice!
  • Keep it appropriate...no swearing or bashing of others!
  • All Entries can be sent in .mp3, .wma or .wav format
    • Only 1 Entry per person and if its a group effort, you have to decide on 1 winner of the prize!

Suggestions:
  • Audacity is a great free program for recording your voice!
  • TrakAx is a great program for chopping up music and adding in voice!
  • Have fun while doing it!

    All Participants will be featured on-air if they are appropriate!

You must admit...GWEN could either be Gaming World Entertainment Network or Guild Wars Eye of the North....can easily confuse many...especially in a Guild Wars forum.

Would of been smart to include the full name in the post, no?

Basically everything they do is done in GW, as far as I know. They run and support in-game and community events. Their on-air giveaways are in-game items.

Well, everything they do in a game. Clearly they promote non-gaming things, and I think those promotions are tied to in-game events only some of the time.

Wow I read the post and didn't even realize that they don't have their full name or a link included. I'm familiar enough with them that it didn't even occur to me that people in this community news forum might not know.

The Gaming World - Entertainment Network is a livestream radio show hosted by people who play Guild Wars. Most of the day they have a DJ someplace in game hosting a show, running trivia and just hanging out. They also have been involved in a large number of the in game parties and events in Guild Wars over the last year. Usually just providing music and some added trivia at parties organized by others. They also host their own parties like the most recent Pink Day in LA where they support a charity with real world prizes for contributors, in addition to the in game prizes. Occasionally they also promote a charity between in game events.
