Best way to upgrade from collectors edition?

I haven't played GW since a few months after release. I have the guild wars collectors edition and just picked up the complete collection from walmart for only 40$ in preparation for GW2.

Can I just add the code from the complete collection to my collectors edition install? Do I need to start a new account from scratch?

Yes you can add the code to an existing account.

Is it a single code or different ones for each expansion etc? If individual codes add the missing codes separately. Then you can have a 2nd copy of prophecies as mule storage.

Trilogy goes on sale for around $20 every so often.

No it was a single key unfortunately

Luckily me being a digital packrat paid off since I couldnt remember any of my characters names but I had some 6 year old screenshots that had a name on it

yeah you can just add it on (that's what I did)



...if you want you could make a new account and in the future add the pieces onto the old account (if you get them cheap) and thus you would have 2 accounts (though most people who arent packrats like me dont have more than one account )
