What Other Heroes Go Well With Sabway?
Testoviron
I'm an Elementalist & am currently using Sabway (3 Necros) as a hero build. Seeing as I can add 4 MORE heroes though, what do you suggest would go well or DOES go well with Sabway?
I wasn't sure what heroes to bring along with me alongside my 3 Sabway Necros so I hope you guys can shed some light on this for me.
Thank you.

2 rits (1 SoS, one SoGM/ST), and 2 mesmers (panic, esurge, ineptitude etc), RoJ works, Paras.
Anything with some synergy.

What marmar said add the SoS, ST, Inept, and Panic heroes and you can pretty much roll any hm mission and vqs.
And if you haven't already, on you minion master AoTL > JB.
For the eighth hero I'd take a RoJ monk (if you are willing to micro RoJ), a monk that is a hex and condition removing monger, or an ele with SF and MS.

What about "Mesway" for the two Mesmer heroes? Would that work?
http://pvx.wikia.com/wiki/Build:Team_-_Mesway
I know it's got 2 Mesmers and a Necro, but I've already got 3 Necros.
Also, are you sure about AoTL? I've only just come back to Guild Wars after a year away and I'm trying to remember everything, but how is AoTL better than JB if you don't mind me asking?
I also was wondering whether it's necessary to bring a melee hero along, as currently I don't have any melee heroes in my party. I've got me (Elementalist) & my 3 Sabway Necros.

The Guildless
You didn't say what you are using the heroes for, so I assume it's for standard NM/HM/VQ etc. Mesway fits very well there (and don't worry about that necro, one of yours should be equivalent to that already). For added comfort and "cruise-control"-ness, you can add Spiritway in there too (then again, ignore the necro). The 8th slot is up to you - I often used a commandagon simply to have Fall Back! --- you'll be killing stuff so fast you'll be eager to get to the next mob! If using a setup like this, my 8th depends mostly of the foes I'll face (i.e. hex/condition removal etc.) If you're going to use Spiritwayand want to bring Splinter Weapon on your channeling rit for extra domination extravaganza, then you can use your 8th hero to dish out that damage (a paragon with AR seems to work great for me).
I wouldn't worry about not having a melee hero in most cases - just make sure the minions aren't too far behind when engaging. Spirits are also good at distracting the enemy. Of course, harder areas need more preparation, but you should get by well enough. It's not a very original setup though, so don't be afraid to change it up a little and make it more fancy! No one's gonna see you if it fails horribly anyway

I haven't tried AotL, but I suppose "number of corpses +1" also means it can make a minion without any corpses.

Not a lot of things work well with Spiteful. It's one-sided really, if you go all-out punish with skills like Vision of Regret/Spoil Victor, you aren't mitigating any sort of damage and end up taking more prots and heals than you would just using Panic. The additional damage from punishes usually never make up for the damage of being able to take additional damage slots.

Yeah, SS isn't that great paired with mesmers, expecially if you run the standard Panic/PI+Inept.
Changing him to PoD would be a better idea.

Thanks a lot guys. I went with Sabway, Mesway & Spiritway in the end.

how unimaginative...
Jagged Bones > Aotl btw. Aotl has too long of a recharge for the animate several minions at a time to matter, plus it only animates 1 minion from each corpse (thus wasting corpses that could be used to animate 2 minions). I would rather have the jagged horrors and the +1 for death magic.
If you are going to use 2 mesmer heroes, I would go with an e-surge hero for the domination one.

Mashiyu
I usually prefer AotL over Jagged, except in areas with few corpses. I find AotL sufficient - it builds every two mob groups a full minion army - which has only survive two mobgroups. It also depends wether you see minions as death nova carriers (=> AotL) or as some kind of mini tanks (=> Jagged)
Plutoman
Jagged has a 15r, so it can produce 3 minions in the same time AotL gets cast. If you consistently have more than 3 minions, AotL produces more, of a higher level, too.
Jagged is advantageous for Death Nova (minion bombers), because they'll die faster, and then get revived to keep damaging with bleeding added. They're more likely to die in combat because of lower levels, meaning more nova damage.
AotL is preferred for a mix between bombers and MM's, or solely MM's, because of higher level minions that are harder to kill and the larger numbers of them.
Take your pick as to what you want. ^^

Didn't realise we get brownie points for being "imaginative". My bad.

For myself in HM, I tend to go 3 necro (Aotl/Curses/N/Rt healer), 2 rit (basically spiritway), either a panic or signet mes and a smite monk.
As for myself as an ele, I go earth DoTAoE (not AP - I like Unsteady Ground too much ) with 3 PvE skills - EVAS, PI and generally a summons.
Works fine for me.
And a small tip - in areas where mobs lay down spirits, (Wardens etc.) if you fire off EVAS at a spirit, the mob will generally head towards the spirit as will your minions. Makes for a really nice ball.
