I'm sorry, I couldn't find any kind of search option, so if this is already somewhere I profusely apologize for littering the forum.
I play GW on a netbook, (Hey, it works) and I am 95.6 % done with Cantha cartographer. I finally decided to do Texmod, and the thing said it has to be 1024x728 or something. Mine can only go to 1024x600. Help?
TexMod for netbooks?

You probably have a small widescreen, and it does not support 1024x768. The only way you could get around that is by attaching an external monitor that supports at least 1024x768.

damn, lol... ok thanks

It can be more than 1024x768, of course, but it probably doesn't recognize your netbook's screen rez (or it's too small) and is telling you it has to be at least 1024x768.

It's not TexMod; it's your operating system. TexMod and Guild Wars and both in combination will run at resolutions below 1024 x 768. I just tested a mod with GW @ 848 x 480 and it loads fine and the mod functions as expected. Windows imposes minimum resolution standards I believe, so you may need to look into compatibility workarounds depending on your version. I performed the test on Win XP SP3.

NetBooks do have some issues with resolution and GW. I tried to go full screen when hooking up a second, 19" widescreen, monitor and was unable. I was stuck with GW being in a window that only took up a quarter of the screen, the exact same size a "full" size window is on my smaller NetBook screen.
It is also not possible to run GW in anything other then window version while on my NetBook. These issues might be contributing to your problems in some way.
