custom shields

i'm not sure if you can customise shields, apart from dedicating tormented, oppressors and destroyerss.
not that it matters, if it Is already possibly I think it would be fair to add a bonus to customised shields, same as weapons.

The game would be easier in PvE i think(downside) but harder in PvP (i don't know if that positive or not)

First off: wrong part of the forum, this belongs in Sardelac.

Second of all: I don't see an idea here. The only reason to custo something would to make it better (custo'ing weapons gives you 20% more base damage) so custo'ing your shield would have to give you extra base armor or something that is only given when the req is met...

Sounds a bit over-powered if you ask me. Paragons and Warriors don't need more armor. +5 Armor max, and that's pushing it. Maybe a small health boost instead?

Shields are balanced as is

PvE-only, +20% of the shields armor (3.2 armor). Not much of a difference, but if it will make whoever customized it happy then congratulations to them.

Would likely cause a rise in prices of rare shields, since currently there is no way to remove them from the market. If customisation was implemented there would be a large spike in prices due to a sudden drop in supply and perhaps a sudden increase in demand.

Make shields (or any piece of equipment) give no bonuses, including mods, unless the minimum requirement (and customized) is met.
