Can't load Embark Beach? I had to do the Rata Sum integrated intel fix a week ago but I could play in Embark the whole time. I could play there YESTERDAY. I loaded in to get a quest (I need the ZV's and ZM's) and now my character's stuck. It loads the screen where it should be loading from 0-100%, but it just freezes as the picture. Or occasionally it'll try to send me back to my guild hall and it won't say "Wizard's Isle" on the top, it's just blank there.

hmmm, okay, make that I can't load ANY characters. I uninstalled and deleted the program files and am re-downloading it. Will update soon with what happened.

It's difficult to say what's causing it so all I can do is give a few general directions:
* Try use the -repair option, followed by an -image, see if it changes anything.
* Try update drivers, mainly video drivers.
* Scan your system for malware and viruses.

It's ok. -repair? what's that mean?

Now it doesn't come up with the general stuff next to the login that says, you know, what's going on next weekend and that stuff's on sale and stuff. And it pops this little thing up that says "Connecting...." forever.

Other possible causes would be....firewall software, or even spyware on your laptop.
Do a spyware scan with something good(like SuperAntiSpyware) & restart your modem. Above all don't stress, cause your just getting yourself worked up.

Yeah I have no problems with the internet. Now I can download the files for the area and it'll say "decompressing" but it won't send me IN. I decided to try it on 2 characters, my main, and my farmer who was in eotn last because she's my mini person

scanned computer, I had a malware but it was a java issue. I updated and restarted, still nothing... I will have my husband look into the drivers for it, I don't know much about this computer.

**NOTE** After starting GW once, remove the -repair suffix so it dosen't try to repair everytime you start!
