Hey there,

just logged in for the first time in five years. I had every miniature waiting for me - apparently I'm a rich bastard? Lol

But uhh.. I only own the very first game, what on earth should I do in the game? Could I farm something? How valuable are my miniatures, also? I have Miniature Siege Turtle, Miniature Mandragor Imp, Miniature Ooze, Miniature Nian, Miniature Fire Drake, Juggernaut, Irukandji, Krait Neoss, Shard Wolf and Zenmai Zonic. And is any class combination overpowered these days?

Thanks! I barely remember how to walk, this is pretty crazy..

I would start by.... playing the game?
Go through the story line, get your bearings, THEN think about farming etc.
I'd start a new char for a fresh start.

If I were you, I would buy the two other campaigns and the expansion, then finish those. After that, If you're planning on buying Guild Wars 2, I would begin to chase after your titles. You can check your progress here: http://hom.guildwars2.com/en/#page=welcome . While playing through the campaigns make sure you go for the Master's/Bonus to get your Protector title. After a bit of this you could start to farm too, check out: http://www.gwpvx.com/PvX_wiki for some good farming builds, as well as many other kinds.

Sadly, your minis werent that rare(only 2 purple iirc), and the tonic is white, therefor not so valuable.
still you should be able to fetch atleast 100-150 platinum for the zenmai tonic(keep in mind trades above 100 platinum often has "ectos" (Globs of ectoplasm) In them.
and the minis, should fetch you around 50-60 platinum.
If you need help selling them, you can pm me on Miniature Julia
I dont want to take your items and sell them,i want YOU to sell them and talk to me about offers so YOU dont get scammed.
welcome back btw!

As ruk1a says, play the game Read the sticky in this section on how to make money. It is a handful of nice basic advise on what to do just while playing. It doesnt make you a millionaire but gives you a little extra
Also, be prepared that many of the regular mission outposts are quite deserted, so you will have to use the henchmen.
I also advise you to buy the rest of the game. Many hours of fun play, plus you get heroes from them. They are your personal henchmen which you can customise, give them the skills you like, also weapons and runes. If you own the eye of the north expansion you can do a easy quest from Lions Arch and get your first 3 heroes, a elementalist, a warrior and a monk. Very useful if you are going to play through missions alone.
With a game this old the majority of players have played through teh regular content many times, so where are people now? The Zaishen Order gives nice rewards for killing a certain boss, doing a certain mission , vanquishing a certain area or do a certain pvp scenario. New rewards each day. Many people are to be found in these places each day.
There are also tons of people doing the so called sc, aka speedclears of various places with good drops. But you shouldnt go into that yet, it requires up-to-date knowledge of the game and ususlly skills from all the chapters.

Also, pre-searing Ascalon is an active place nowadays since you can get the title Legendary Defender of Ascalon (lvl20 in pre) doing new daily quests with enemies that are harder than usual in pre. ALso you get nice gifts from the npc Nicholas who collects ordinary stuff like gargoyle skulls, skale fins etc. Pre-searing Ascalon is a place you can play fully without having the other parts of the game.

Welcome back and good luck

I would treat it like a brand new game. There's been so many changes in 5 years that it practically is a different game than the one you bought.
