Deleting a LDoA

So I've been working on a Legendary Defender of Ascalon, and I'm at level 19 now, when I get to 20, and talk to the historian, it'll unlock LDoA on my account and give me the HoM title towards my honor point total. Now.. if I delete that character (cause honestly I don't intend on ever playing him again), do I lose that title on my HoM page?

And no, you won't lose any HoM statues from deleting characters.

Once it's unlocked on account the char can be deleted.

You do realise that once level 20 in pre, you can still get out? Why work so hard and lose the title on that character? Dislike the profession you chose?

From what I heard (I'm new), every character you own gets a present every anniversary. So why delete it? Let it rot and collect his birthday presents every year.

I am actually sorta in the same boat..have a lvl 15 in pre and once I get ldoa in hom....my pre char is getting deleted. I really don't like prophs and have no intentions of building that char any further past loda.

So with that in mind...Why would I do this?...Answer: for the character slot....I already have well established toons of all professions so theres no need for doubles. With an maleable char slot I can farm event quests infinately. I can roll pvp toons for extra storage, merch models, or jic I don't feel like setting up my pve toons for pvp.

If your account isn't that old and you don't NEED the extra character slot you may as well keep the character to get birthday presents from him/her.

You can always turn that character into a storage mule.

I have a LDOA too and just can't pull the trigger on that one. If you are looking to fill your HOM, keep the char for the minis and storage.

Been doing the same thing myself got 2 characters to 20 talked to the historian then left pre dumped everything into xunlai storage and deleted the character.

Started 2 more because I want the perfect run ie getting to 20 without dying then I can run the character through the game till bored or I get survivor.

Don't want to keep the characters as I am already getting presents of 12 others in fact I deleted two 3 year old characters to start the presearing run.

I wouldn't want to run another character right through all four games again that would drive me nuts.

My pre toon is just another ranger, already have a male ranger level 20 that's done most the content in the game.. why have a second I'm never going to play.. basically it opens up a slot to make new pvp characters.

I never use ranger heroes anyway no point in making a merc that doesn't have awesome elite armor :P
