So about 30% of the people who are playing snowball GvG are cheating at the expense of genuine players. They make like I said between 7-20 million gold in z keys. If anyone on the test krewe did snowball GvG they would know and see it. It is not something that as a developer I would like to see happening. If they cannot deal with it, simply remove the format. Cheaters should not be rewarded and they are being rewarded. I say this when I made about 3.5 million gold in zkeys without having to use these cheats (I played in nearly every single Snowball GvG except maybe 4). It hurts me as well if they remove the format.
In any event, cheating should not be allowed. So I do not see why the 'reduced' rewards of CB has more precedence over the cheats in Snowball GvG of millions of gold rewards? The priority is totally wrong, especially when Snowball GvG runs for nearly 3 weeks.

Just because the points from consecutives has been removed doesn't mean there isn't an incentive to sync. There are two things that haven't been addressed: the ability for syncers to essentially choose teammates of similar, high caliber, which is who they would prefer to play with, and the ability for these kinds of teams to score more rewards than a randomly selected team, due to the differences in average skill level.

Though I think the propsed system would work (no syncs), if after the first or second consecutive win of randomiation the team remains the same. This is probably the best option unless they can introduce a full single bucket of players where they are shuffled and then thrown in.
I cannot see them introducing a PSR system, too much work for them.
I just want to play devils advocate here, hear me out. Syncs use to exist before the changes last year, I played against these syncs and beat them, not only did we beat them, they were beaten repeatedly. One random team I was on, had 68 straight wins, and we played against many syncs teams (you know the guilds and players in the asian and chineese districts).
These highly skilled players are not that great, all they have done is actually learned to play the format. Anyone else who comes along and knows how to play can beat them. They rely on the fact that they think they are good by syncing and yet they fail. The main reason we won, was great team play with random players. These folks think they are good as individuals failed, and failed big time as a team.
Either way what is better? Syncs or shite players? If I am truthful, I prefer playing in a random team against syncs because it is a challenge and laugh at them when they lose. Ideally it should never happen and it is good to see Anet trying to do something about it, but they made the format really shit for all the 'regulars' (not casuals) who do not sync.
Anyway, anything that can improve upon the current CB method will help bring back the skill, tactics and I hope it will be as fun with balanced bars.
