Learning FoWSC MT - essence or full conset?
ashes
I wanna learn MT for FoWSC, and im not gonna screw some random ppl because is suck - so im gonna learn the various pulls with heroes in my party.
Do i need to pop a full conset for that, or will a simple essence be enough?

Essence is enough. Though heroes might suck and may fail (or probably will). I would advice watching videos to learn each step and try with humans. I did it and didn't fail.

watch the videos and pug it, the quality of terras in those groups is generally low, and chances are your team will have at least one derp in it anyway, so while you might get raged at, its just as likely someone else will mess up and fail you first

I have seen alot of video on youtube, and read multiple guides - but i generally just dont like being the weak link ;P
I'll buy some essences and give it a try with heroes, or maybe bring a couple of guildies

Just bring a team of friends, like, backline(ua) MoP, esurge w/e, and some frontlines, and you can do the whole of your part.
if the necro&war is exp you three can do it alone.

What about t1 and t2? Do they need fullset or is essence enough?
Nijntjuh
they can both be done with a BU only but for example armor of salvation helps a ton for ToS. Also trying that on ur own is a bad idea as you won't be able to pop the quests that the mainteam normally pops for you.

That sure is a slight problem ;P - Thanks for the heads up
EDIT: Also, can someone explain to me how you get thru the spider cave without goc? or maybe send me a link to a guide/video that explains it?
Been looking on youtube, but most clips are rubbish or outdated

going through the cave you will see some little "dents" in the wall, most of those will cover you from arrows, just stop in those before casting stuff, that's the safest way. else you can shadow step before casting, hope you'e lucky, or use sliver armor for extra chances of blocking.

Yea but thats not 100% rupt-proof, as the dents only block a certain amount of arrows. Is it a game of luck, or do you ball the spiders so that the dent are 100% proof?
Sambo007
the dents are 100% block proof, also I dont even use the dents I just strafe before casting sf but that is risky and you need xp.

If not you aren't in the right dents...I've gotten bored with a slow main team and killed the dryders in the cave and went afk on facebook while I waited for quests. They are 100% blockable if you go into the right ones...they can be standing on you and they will still block.
myths of fury
they will be 100% blockable because of how the spiders follow you, since they will ball up in a certain way. what you should remember from this is to go into dents that are somewhat between 2 groups of spiders, since newly aggroed spiders have more chances of not being blocked by dents.
also, the use of cast time reduction pcons does help ( I use pumpkin pies all the time on my perma), having a delay between your skills is also useful. If you don't feel safe, bring a powerstone of courage along, and use it if you get into trouble (it gives you instant recharge of all skills).
You can always try it with goc at first, and get some exp and then once you get your own way of avoiding rupts, take it off, it's all up to you
