I was in GtoB waiting for a partner to join, and this happened

It all appeared at the same time, i.e, it wasn't 1 or 5 seconds from each title blessing. I found the sweet/drunk and other consumable title track plausible, but the VQ and the lux title track at the same time caught my eye. I don't think its possible to VQ an area, and at the same time, talk to a Lux Faction NPC to raise rank

I do not know if it was a bug, or a third party program that was been used, any ideas?

It's just a title spike. That person probably vanquished his/her last area, then quickly zoned to the guild hall, ran to the faction reward guy, while on the way using his/her last sweet, party and drunkard items, then turning in the last faction they needed. Nothing to worry about, it happens very often.

Nah I'm pretty sure you can vq and get Luxon/Kurzik faction at the same time. Someone musta worked hard to do that there

You can vq and receive faction, but you cannot receive title points directly throught farming. You must either turn in a book or redeem faction points at an NPC.

Actually, he was probably holding out on one area to vanquish, then when he got within 2k - 3k points from maxing the luxon title, he went out and vanquished the area without the blessing to get faction from kills and ate one sweet/drank one alchohol/used one firework just as he killed the final enemy and got all of titles at nearly the same time. I doubt that guild wars really updates the title maxing thing and notifies people of XXX's achievements in absolute real time. A signal is probly sent out every few seconds.

Though there is a slight lag he could have set a macro to zone to Kaineng City, and turn in a book. That may be quicker than guild hall, but come to think of it a guild hall zone and faction reward turn in might be quicker.

Bah, could have easily gotten Wisdom and Skill Hunter at the same time. Cartographer and Survivor too if you wanted to be extra cool.

Yes, its completely normal. Its standard for announcements like that to be put out only every x seconds instead of at a constant stream (easier on the servers this way), and you can easily get to a guild hall and donate faction in about 5s.

All you need is to zone to GH really fast and dump your faction. My ele spiked with vanquisher, lucky, wisdom and luxon. Helps to have that faction guy near your spawn location, not somewhere on the other side of the Guild Hall.

One of my friends is planning a possible 10 title spike in the near future. Its on his 7th GWAMM character.

And a few others. It's being very carefully planned and mapped out. He knows when and where he is going to finish and what he needs to do/have on hand. The only think that can go wrong is if he doens't retain his lockpick on the last chest.

I don't think that maxing vanquisher with protector (guardian) is possible. The rest is doable: my necro spiked with vanquisher, cartographer and unlucky. Breaking lockpicks ftw.

Finsh Zen Daijun HM with a Canthan character, run inside and kill a tiger

and hot foot it over to a section of the map to uncover the last bit for cartographer.

Its doable but needs some good timing and planning.

What I meant was - not possible in terms of spiking. Killing that tiger or crane will take at least 10 seconds, mapping probably more. Spikes should be faster. Nevertheless, that's a great thing your friend is planning. Hope I'm online to see it.

I cant believe ppl think these title spikers are hacking.... its simple u just get every title to the absolute last point.... finish vanquish, zone to guild hall, down a drunk sweet and party point, as your walking to the faction npc to turn in faction gained ... its a very common thing to do... and theres no telling how quickly that was from a screenie.. plus there is skill point gained between the vanquish and rest of the titles suggesting it wasn't totally instant

Everything but the max luxon title are pretty easy to do together.

But I someone said it, they just did these in a luxon rep giving area
