Experience points from quests in explorable area

When I complete a quest in the explorable area, and return to the person who issued the quest (also in the explorable area), do all heroes in my party get the same experience points? Or just my main hero?

Any heroes in the party will gain the experience. Also, any heroes of a lower level than your character will gain 5x the experience, so use that to your advantage if you want to level heroes quickly. Hope this helps. =)
