Hi,
Is there a way to unsummon my imp? If I die on a quest and can't find the imp, I sometimes want to just get rid of it so I can resummon it later so it will be near me for fighting. But I can't see a way to unsummon it.
Barring that, is there a way to get it to come to me?

nope i wish they would add something to call your summons to your location but no there isnt sure would be a nice thing to have especially in pre

Usually when I die I have to go back to where it happened anyway to continue the quest.
Imp runs to me once it shows on the radar.
I think once summoning sickness is over you should be able to summon the imp again and it should cancel the original.
Not needed it myself thus far but it seems reasonable.

As summoning sickness has been reduced to a 10-minute duration, if you really don't want the imp with you or you don't want to return to the site of your death, just take a short break and wait it out.

this doesnt work because before you can summon a new imp the old one has to die even if the sickness is over

I'd rather see some bugs fixed that your ressed by a portal you didn't even reached. If your smply ressed the way you should be ressed, you could simply walk to you imp, cause the way to it would be cleared.
When I enter regent valley (pre) from fort ranik, and got killed near Vencel (the merchant). Why should I be ressed at the res-shrine near master ranger Nente, what is imo the other side of the map?

Easier to put the mini map up and walk back to its location where presumably it has killed off everything in its immediate area, or zone out and start again.
I agree about res shrine location though, I was pretty sure in the early days of GW you had to approach a res shrine to "activate it" so you could only res at one you had visited.

Sorry for forgetting about the imp not dying when the summoning sickness expires.
