So, I've been looking around a lot and I have done quite some testing myself. Since I'm lazy by nature I wanted a team that can do everything with me doing nothing . I've been using this build for vanquishing and it never let me down so far, no tactics required, just charging in =).



Some notes:
- Yes, for the normal game there is some overheal present. This is needed if you want to tackle ele bosses in HM. If you actually bother to precast PS, you can remodel the Me/Rt to Channeling and add damage (or whatever you want, but try to keep a rezz on him).

- This can be run with any player bar. If you are covering any of the things the Mesmers take care of (Panic, minions, etc...) its best to just change the respective Mesmer to another damager.

- As far as elite areas go: FoW HM is a joke, FoW HM with an empty player bar is possible, but you gotta be careful to not fight in places where patrol paths cross. I'm still tinkering out the perfect bars for UW and DoA (both HM). I'll likely drop the minion-Mesmer, play an ST-Rit (Shelter/Union) and add more damage on the SoS-Mesmer.

I was thinking of use Symbolic celerity for my mesmers, but I realized that areas with heavy enchantment removal, many of your skills will drop it effectiveness by a lot.

Places with heavy enchant removing would be troublesome. Also heroes don't always renew symbolic celerity.

In situations where you need to defend an area, a SOGM offensive spirit spammer would be more effective than one of your mesmers.

Enchantment removal is annoying, but not really a problem.

The first two Mersmers can still use their Elite and some other skills, the Keystones still get the damage from the Keystone Signet, only the Me/Rt is seriously harmed (and he still got his healing).

A lot of the enchantments will be protected (covered by the E/Mo) or the skills will simply be interrupted.

So far it has been a nonissue, if you give me a specific area I will be happy to test it and take a look again.

I find it odd that the meta now uses so many Mesmers.... just a suggestion on the Me/N... have u tried to use signet of sorrow? (one that recharges instantly around a corpse)... Heroes will actually sit there and spam it with keystone on whenever possible.

This may be a dumb question but why don't you swap your secondaries on your Panic Mesmer and Me/P? That would put two more signets on one of your Keystone bars.

I seen a lot of me/rt symbolic sos's lately for some reason.....tbh the thing gained in your build by using a mesmer vs a rit there is a faster rez and high dmg from the 2 mez signets. Your missing out on spawning power which is more important imo. Also like others have noted..if encountering enchantment removal...heavens forbid mirror of disenchant...you're sol.

2 of the 3 use it and I don't think it is better than any of the skills of the 3rd Me/N.

@vader:
Energy, the Panic can't really handle 2 Wastrels spells + a lot of other stuff and I really wanna have the P skills in there. SYG is extremely good and FB speeds things up (not necessary, but nice to have nontheless). NS is not awesome, but I don't know of a better alternative.

@Essence:
I had a true Rit in this place originally, but the Mes performs better. Seeing how the Spirits hardly ever die made me wanna try this approach and I like it better so far. If I played as a melee I'd probably prefer a Rit @ 16 chan for Rage and Splinter, but I'd keep the resto part anyways, I always feel that SoS heroes waste potential by going into the SP line.

Sorry if this is dumb, but where do I get 5 mesmers from? I only have 2 mes heroes Gwen and Norgu. Or is that supposed to be any hero with a mes secondary?

Its not even worth having panic when you are already having keystone's, just change the panic into ks and be happy having the same effect (area rupt) with moar dmg.
misstrust you still can use on a me/n keystone
The Illu-mes will run out of energy (if you don't change the dmg-nec signet to leech sig).
The Me/Rt is just meh.
Sos is only good single target dmg, but bad on heroes cuz they use it just while running and so on, use another me/n with ks, symbolic, misstrust, 2 necsigs and other signets. (then you only got 2 backlliners and thats ok, for ele bosses in hm you don't need overheal, only the mouse on a ruptskill of a mes and you use it as soon as you aggro the boss).

Better use a N/rt healer (here you can place sos if you really want to have it) and take the para rezz signet instead of "never surrender" on the me/P.

Even of they only use it in Battle, the dmg of another KS is higher than the dmg of an Sos.
And my build suggenstions contain Sos as Elite on the nec-healer, then you only got 8/9 or 10 channeling but you still got sos.

@Nika: Heroes will usually not start the fight with Keystone, so they will use 2-3 signets and for this time the enemies can cast. Panic is usually the first spell cast, to give csters a lockdown through the whole fight. This also helps to get the max value out of the wastrels spells.

The illu Mes is fine energy wise. It used to run out, but ever since I cut clumsiness from the build it works just fine.

The Me/Rt was the last to be added, so he is the least tested, but so far he has performed nicely. Having the mouse on the rupt might work, but I don't like to have to do things =). But yes, with a little micro this one can be setup to do more damage, everybodys choice.

The monk is far better than any Necro healer I ever used. It does have a little less healing power but the instant rezz makes more than up for it. (The only way you really die is if you overaggro or run into "random" spikes, they are rare in PvE but still occur every now and then).

Ive been running SoS for months now and never had a bad experience with it.

@Daesu:
Yes, it sometimes happens, but whenever you give your heroes some situational skills something is bound to go wrong every now and then. The point is that it is awesome when it works but almost never a big deal if it doesn't (at least in my experience). They only take a slight hit on their effectiveness sometimes, so its gain really outweights its loss.
