Hi guys,

I've made this spreadsheet and I wanted to share it with you all

What is it?
A sheet to easily calculate materials cost, cost of armors (nice for filling spots in HoM) for all professions and cost of making artisan crafts.
Every price is based on an evaluation of prices in the current market, so they can be off but will usually give an idea of the price give or take.

What do I do?
Download the version you want, the normal sheet (NPA) isn't that big (515 kb) but will not have pictures of every armor like the other (PA) which is bigger (270 mb).
Open the sheet and jump into the profession you would like to view the prices of, or open up the Materials pane to look at the different material prices or artisan craft prices.

How do I update the material prices?
The sheet will automatically update every time you open it (you might have to accept the connection every time, unless you change your preferences) with the prices of every material. I will try to make updates to the prices every week or so, but you can still enter your own prices if you want, these will reset upon re-opening the sheet though.

Updates to the material prices does not require you to download again.

I found an error!
Great! I don't like errors! Send me a mail or contact me in-game. Character names is in the sheet in 'about' pane, and will be updated if I create new alts (yes, also automaticaly!).

New versions?
If I release a new version, it will say so in the 'changelog' pane, as well as in the 'about'. The version will then no longer match the downloaded sheet (look at the file name at the top of excel to see if the versions are the same)

If there is a new version, it is because something new have been added or some bug have been fixed, and a new download will be required.

I have comments or ideas!
Great! Let me hear them, send me a mail or contact me in-game. Character names is in the sheet in 'about' pane, and will be updated if I create new alts (yes, also automaticaly!).

REQUIRES A PROGRAM THAT CAN VIEW EXCEL 2007 PROJECTS

i agree with Mordiego.. it sounds really pretty shady. I think i'll stick to calcing out armor cost the safe old fashion way

Although it's healthy to be a bit sceptical in cases like this,
I double checked the excel files and can say that they appear genuine.
They don't contain macros, they only contain a data connection to a csv file.
In other words it's Excel that updates it automatically, not some macro with some hidden agendas. It's safe to say it won't harm your computer in anyway.

It will overwrite the data in the spreadsheet though.

For those still sceptical, Excel will block any connection by default and you could just edit some fields manually if you prefer. Just know those fields will be overwritten if you ever decide to allow connection.

On a more personal note,
thanks for sharing but personally I won't use it as I could just do this manually. It relies on you updating it unless you have a 24/7 bot that updates the csv files from ingame.

Thanks for your comments. I can assure you, there is nothing dodgy about this!
I find it useful, my alliance finds it useful, and someone here might as well

@Bristlebane
Since is a reference, and you can change the numbers in the different materials, it should be just as valid as doing it manually.

As the prices change all the time, and yes I don't have 24/7 to update, the prices will be a bit off, but usually they are kept within the frame.

Also, using it to gain some kind of insight as to what armor to go for first, and where to get it is never a waste of 515kb download time
