Original Pre-order items

It would be a good tribute to players that have been playing since pre-order. I am in particular talking about the canthan targe, though i know they all need it. I would like a useful update, though I would be satisfied if they only made it like all other shields, 16/9 moddable. Even if you had to upgrade it off another sheild.. say a torment sheild like in the pvp reward system. I just want this shield usable. /discuss or /addinputs thanks

ehh, they were not all that handy when the game came out either... wanted to shield but disappointed when mine gave me the censors icon for pre-order prof.

I have to agree. This is one of the best shield skins and yet it is practically unusable.

Would be a very simple fix to up the shield armor to max and make it Q9 Strength or Tactics. Would create the most versatile shield in game, in some ways. The energy isn't as useful as an extra 10 armor vs X but is still okay.

The #1 issue with this shield now, is weakness. Say you met the reqs you need, now you have to add one more, just to make sure you keep the bonus when weakened, so really the required reqs are 11/9/9/9. When weakness was changed to -1 skill, they should have updated items with outrageous requirements.

Most got updated once, but they're still worthless. Most /bonus items are worthless unless you're in Pre-searing. >.>

I have favored this idea for a while, even including updated versions in the store as a pack. I remember that the Ithas Bow was updated at one point. The original reasoning was that Anet didn't want Pre-order folk having an advantage right off the bat when the game went live, but since that's a moot point now, all the original pre-order stuff should get an update so we can use them either for chars or Heroes.
