This is what I have been using on El Capitan.


I offer no support for this wrapper however I hope someone finds it to be useful.

Also I might be playing on my mac more this week so I might be tweaking it more.

I find it so amazing that after so many years, no one has really ever been able to find a stable solution to running this old game on the Mac OS. I've been using boot camp since 2006 on my apple machines so it really doesn't bother me too much, and my MacBook Air can run GW in parallels emulated without a hitch. I think it might be worth while to start using VMs these days.

its less "havent been able to" and more "havent taken the time to", this mac wrapper was easy to make using wineskins and works fine for me and many others :P however bootcamp will always be the best option, (or vm in your case). But not everyone wants to install windows on their mac requiring partitioning and other nastiness.

I was using the last 2015 version. It's awesome! ... But with the new mac operating system (el capitan) It doesn't works. I tested in two different macs.

Somebody knows how to fixed it?

I downloaded the client that was posted above for the os x el capitan update and I had no problems logging on but when it tried to load me into a world i had a lot of files to download and the downloaded seemed to be unnaturally slow, almost as if it was not downloading at all. Any tips?

It's great that GW works on El Capitan, however I'm not able to make fullscreen mode or just adjust window mode...

Hey guys, first of all thank you for putting in so much effort for this game!

I do have a question though. I'm new to the whole running windows programs on mac and I don't know if I need to install Wine/Wineskin to get this to work or if I can just download the 2015 version and install it by dragging it to applications?

Hello, I'm having some troubles with this wineskin. The client seems to run fine, but I can't enter the "@" sign with my keyboard or the mac's virtual keyboard, and thus can't log in. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a way to fix it?
