Those skills are simply ones that were in an attribute before but didn't actually scale with the attribute. Not really a skill change or a fix, just a reclassification so that its easier to find them. Otherwise you have to manually look through attributes that you have 0 in to put it on your bar sometimes.

If nobody sees it I will point out - this update is a Mirror of Disenchantment nerf - it won't work with a 40/40 Dom set anymore. Nothing big obv but was this needed just for the consistency?

Hexbreaker Aria was already described as "essentially an unlinked skill." So gain little, lose nothing.

But ... Ssaresh Rattler now uses Fox Fangs.

Oh noes! I am a'feard! I am a'feard! Wonder what he was using before? Never knew because he was always dead before I looked. He's in Maishang Hills south of Bai Passu Reach outpost.

If you don't manage to catch him on the way in, he and his small group of Naga will suicide against Seacrash and an Island Guardian. Might be some rot wallows there too. Well, Fox Fangs is unblockable. Perhaps it is added to his other dagger attacks so he can make a bigger dent in Seacrash before dying.

Ssaresh in theory drops decent lightning daggers with bonus against hexed targets. Never bothered to farm them.

Seacrash drops an Earth Wand that looks sort of cool. Never got one of them neither.

Find skills more easily. Get a tad more damage from the enhanced Ssaresh which boss most players blasting their way through the game these days never even notice anyways.

Strange update, very.

a buffed to all enchantment I must say.... less mirror of disenchantment.. more enchantment.. god help us..gg

perhaps you don't have to change weapon now to use the 10/10 all skill recharge upgrade for the mirror of disenchantment~~~

I don't think this is even supposed to be a balance update. Just a random fix to bugs and inconsistences(sp?) done by whoever is in charge of dealing with that.

We've been getting a lot of bug fixes since they opened their official forum for bugs.

I believe those things are done separately from the designers behind skill/ content updates, and this time, they were updated separately as well.

I think its great they are fixing some of the bugs....but these dont seem to be them---

I believe there are much older issues that they could be addressing than changing the attributes for these skills (a look thru the known bugs section here is just the tip).

so I'm with the "......ah....uhm........what?' crowd on this one (though 2 weeks with updates.....would be nice if we got them everyweek----)

Sounds most likely. While the designers are doing other work, they're just fixing all the weird lil miscellaneous things that have been around. Hopefully they'll get to more as we go on.

It's not really skill update considering those skills in their category( a.k.a domination , critical, etc...) didn't require any points for their effects...

They should move Shadow Form into No Attribute and fix the duration to 10 seconds.

Update doesn't change much, but it's always nice to see a small change when you hit K.

More like move shadow form into Critical strikes, make it 1 second + a duration based on Crit strikes rank.
Then if your an assassin prime you get to use it otherwise get lost.

SoC never needed an attribute, finally moving it away from the Command line was more for administration.

Assault Enchantments used to do bonus damage but now it obviously does not.

The others are now free disenchantment options, since their bonus damage or proc effects from the attribute lines were useless. So instead of buffing these, they now made several non-attributed enchantment strips. To do what? I don't know, because that's not the way to tackle Dervishes... Or is it?

It's possible that's the intention, but with the enchant teardown system most dervishes use now, I'm not sure how beneficial it would be to strip them.

Assault enchantment problem in the past was only that you could spam it permanently, but it was dealing no damage, only removing enchants...
Besides, you can maybe remember it, as R/A were using that skill( and they don't have access to critical damage to make more points in it )

This isn't even an update or anything( bug fix i mentionned above) in fact... just making thing look cooler and easier...

The reason song of concentration and hexbreaker's are unlinked is because they are popular in HA and GvG but paragons are the redheaded step child and no one wants to lose functionality by putting points into command or motivation.

The amount of time Anet has had to put into ostracizing a single class is mindboggling. Considering how many anti-shout skills are out there it's even more befuddling.

And this update changes nothing of that.

Really, it's just a fix for bugs and other small stuff. The only (indirect) skill change was the mesmer's one, because it won't be affected by dom sets any longer.
