The amount of time Anet has had to put into ostracizing a single class is mindboggling. Considering how many anti-shout skills are out there it's even more befuddling.

It has nothing to do with this. Tbh, Command has it's uses in HA where an ele an spec 10 into Command and be able to bring a shield and 15 second "MH!".
SoC was in the Command line, but for no reason, there was no benefit linked to it in Command at all, it was just sitting in that attribute for no reason. Hexbreaker Aria... Lol, ok when was the last time you GvGed? Paragons will always get hated because they were designed to do 2 things, and doing 2 things in Guild Wars has never been healthy. Either you go full damage or you go backline. Paragons can't do both well unless there's 3 of them.
@ Missing HB, aren't you thinking of Assault Enchantments? Never ran lame R/A builds but I remember getting 24/7 targetted by one with Assault Enchantments when I monk. Sins ran Shattering Assault in early TA to counter ZB monks and just monks in general, wild strike removed stance was unblockable and was followed by unblockable 70+ dual strike.
Anyways, this was a bug fix update, and they also organised the uselessly attributed skills into no-attribute.
Move along, GW2 PvP in 18 days :OOO
