Just wondering, how long should you expect LDoA to take since they changed up presearing? (roughly)
I don't much like the idea of vanquishing/carto so was wondering if it's likely shorter now these days than either of those titles.
Thanks!

Hard to tell, in hours at least. If you're fine with grinding mobs over and over during either Utini Wupwup or Farmer Hamnet, it's doable in 3-4 days tops. Just never turn in the quest.
In case of Utini, it might be worth killing him, but then abandon and retake the quest in Ascalon. In case of Farmer Hamnet, just kill the bandits up until the cave on the left of Aziure.
It feels extremely grindy, but i got about 800 xp every 15-20 min from bandits, on lvl 18, and only a bunch less on 19 (less xp, but faster runs).

I would say somewhere between 20 and 30 hours
Grind xp until lvl 10, Farmer Hamnet from 10-16 - turn in quests and Farmer Hamnet a little till u hit lvl 17 and then Farmer Hamnet until lvl 20 :P

You'll need a few hours doing "charr at the gate" till lvl 11.
I found it faster to let 1 charr live so it's just map back and redo.
The farmer quest mentioned is pretty easy even at level 11 just by grinding the 1st group. Just pull them so you can have the monk at the shrine heal you.
The Utini quest is a bit harder, and i never killed the boss or groups of 2 monks. It just isn't worth the time since they're quite good healers (and i sucked with my warr).
If you only grind these 2 quests you'll need 3-5 days depending on the one you start. But in terms of playing time it should be less than 24h.
Almost forgot footman tate, it's also really easy and at lower levels you can even take on the charr bosses. But you'll need someone to open that gate for you, which is a bother.

Saves you a lot of time between 19-20 for LDoA.

Actually you can still save all the regular quests and turn them in at level 19.

So, level up to 16, do all the quests and you should be at 17 or really, really close. Then proceed to farm two Hamnet mobs to level 20. I prefer farming the two mobs right outside of the outpost and resigning to spawn back inside. It's a grind but I was able to do 11-12 runs in 10 minutes.
Getting to level 20 on my ele took me 25 hours. Then she got ganked in D'Alessio Seaboard HM (thank you, PUGs!) so I deleted her.
