Wanting a 7H build for my para...

I'm looking for a good 7 Hero setup build to handle most anything in the game on Hard Mode, that doesn't require me to spend money on hero slots. (Don't get me started on the economy, back to topic.)

To be sure, I'm about done with NM pve, with only the Torment area of Nightfall left, before HM is unlocked everywhere. I'd also 'somewhat' like to still enjoy playing the game in HM, despite what I should expect of the obvious from it. I looked around at various builds, both here and on PvX, but not sure what direction to go with. (Don't even know for sure if an Imbagon-Racway setup is any good anymore.) Also looked at 7H player setup, but also just as unsure.

I think I need a set of workable options, since would like to fill out my own HoM, and all such whatnot.

All tips (and any links,) are fully appreciated.

3 nercros 2 rits and 2 mesmers or 1 mesmer 1 monk would be good im a 100b warrior (will still work for you just run a imbagon build to support them and you might have to do a little tanking/pulling and have no problems).

edit: inepitude mesmer with interupt/hex/condition removal if you want and micro when needed

mm/minion bomber necro for most areas/subsitute for more AoE dmg/healer like monk with smite/hex/condition removal or heal/hex/condition removal when dealing with areas that has no corpses

2x rit sprit spammer with heals and rez if doing melee dmg then equip splinter weapon and micro when needed

(if doing melee)
2 x ss resto necro 1 with enfebling blood and weaken armor other with barbs and mark of pain

last spot is optinal but i like to bring a panic,AoE ele, or monk with strength of honor and essence bond and micro bond me then let him bring hex and condition removal if doing panic then inepitude dosent need interupts

hopes this helps you

Post your own ideas and people can work from those.

Necro, some variant of MM for areas with exploitable corpses.
Necro/Rit Healer
Dervish Avatar of Melandru for condition removal
Mesmer, Panic with interrupts
Monk for back up healing or other healer of your choice
Warrior with Dragon Slash sword build
Assassin/Para for more GFTE spam

My own variant of Imbagon.

But all depends on area you are in. A lot of different builds work, just have to tinker a bit. Builds you put together yourself you also know how they work and how to modify them when need be.

If i go as imbagon i usually take heros combo from post #2. 3x necro, 2x rit, 2x mes. I dont need monk - necros got prot skills and rits got resto healing. My imba support is enough to keep all alive.

I don't suppose I could see some code builds or build pics from gwcom or something, to peruse against my own builds. I finally beat Nightfall today, so all that's missing from my hero lineup, is Thackery from War in Kryta. (Hardly a biggie.)

Currently I have an akin lineup from the 7H build, with 2 Rits, 2 Mesmer, a MM Necro and Necro Resto, (the third Necro I'm not sure where to go yet, leaning for a second Minion Bomber, but also picked up Discord tonight for the heck of it.) Also got a Healing Burst Monk and LoD monk for my two classic monk healers, and a RoJ smiter monk to go with, that I can adjust.

I 'would' like to have one melee hero to protect all those semi-squishy casters while getting the minions going. I 'can' be convinced otherwise, however.

Again, would like build codes or at least skill layouts for certain build options to slot in where the 7H build is likely lacking. Might need to explain things a bit when displaying since I haven't got the hard mode lingo down yet, and I have a night job that I haven't had a proper break from, for over two years. (Can you say: 'Bad Economy'? Yeah...)

Sorry if I come across needing a bit of hand holding. (Worry not, married here. Going on 12 years here soon.) Just wana get this right.

I wouldn't mind one as well, and don't worry Imaldris, I feel EXACTLY the same way. A good shove in the proper direction is always helpful

Selfless advertisement, but try mine here. Either the dual-invoke with an imba, the suggestion PurpleFlamingo posted with his SY warrior, or the melee option with just about anything you think you'd enjoy playing. I don't have a lot of experience with melee, so it's not entirely tuned towards an attacking profession, but it might give you some ideas to play around with.

Racway isn't a bad choice, either - never played with it, but heard good things. Just go have fun - take a powerful build, and put your little touches into it. There's a lot of good content, see what appeals, and modify anything about it that doesn't.

Actually, my build order commonly is as follows, that I've done quite a few vanquishes in the past couple of weeks.

- Olias / MoW - AotL MM (I took out Nova on large map vanquishes, in favor of an AoE or quick recharge attack spell, except in compact areas. I also made em a protter to pre prot with. Also made em Rits to pop Recuperation in the recent Eternal Grove mission.)
- Xandra SoS Rit
- Razah SoGM Rit
- Gwen Ineptitude Mes
- Norgu Panic Mes
- Tahlkora - UA Monk (It just felt too uncomfortable to not go with at least one monk. Plus, she's purty in Primeval armor. )
- Last hero various: I have several options, depending on if a mission needs a specific hero require, or just my own style. Dunkoro as a RoJ Smiter, a Broad Head Ranger with winter / frozen soil, depending, A merc hero Ele as an Invoke Lightning spec, the warriors as either Hundred Blades or hammer knockdown-wild blow. (The latter mainly for Shiro.) I'm also in the process of leveling a Rit, Necro and Mesmer, to add each as hero mercs soon abouts here.

I think the philosophy I settled on, is (for the most part,) numbers. Massive numbers. Armor ignoring numbers. Also, that I suck at micromanaging, as I'm a rather lazy person really. I know I need to work at spreading out my team more for the spike boss groups. But when I get two greens from Mirror of Lyssa yesterday, things seem to be working overall.
