Reading the .dat file won't show up as if you're hovering your mouse over the flux icon in-game.
Why bother to convert .dat information in to believable text from the game if you're not trying to fool anyone?

Solidarity makes no sense at all?

I think it's supposed to say: for each ally in the area, you get 20 damage reduction each second.

I interpret it as creating a cutoff of damage that you can take while allies are in the area, with the cutoff increasing as more allies are closer. It's sorta like the Guild Lord's Amulet of Protection.

In a team of eight where all eight players are close enough to each other, each of them could only take up to 160 damage per second, past which the damage would be healed/prevented. However, a player that splits off from the main team and moves around alone would only take a maximum of 20 damage each second.

I don't want it to be fake, but they'll be mad, regardless.

Out of interest, can someone post a screenshot of what the .dat file looks like for a comparison/example?

20 damage each second, gogo Healing Breeze?

Nah that wouldn't make sense, since the flux' name is Solidarity, so more people close together should be better than a person alone.

Go look at the Guild Wars files.

Actually, I'll tell you. There's 3 files, sometimes only two. A gw.dat file, a gw.exe, and a temporary file.

The .dat is 3.2 gigs. What's contained in there? Images, textures, game data, everything in the game is in there. That could include the text boxes that pop up as you hover it over.

It could be a fake, but it's also potentially very real. If it's fake, it was a funny read to think on, if it's real, it'll be interesting for sure. I won't complain about some changes. Stale games are stale - I'm a guy who can't stand a game if I can't mod it continually to my liking, changing things up. If I'm putting thousands of hours into a game, I'd like it to continually change.

Battle of Attrition looks brutal. Not sure how GvGs would play under that. Extra monks? Everyone has hard res? Bring no damage because you're only going to have to kill 60'ed targets?

This would be even worse for the state of PvP. I honestly hope the OP is BSing cause quite a bit of these fluxes are god awful.

Well an other issue would be for RA or even HA... some flux give a too unfair advantage for team holding halls( 1v1) or even in RA for teams having monks....
