Can't Connect to Guildwars

Hi i am trying to connect to guildwars and when i log in it pops up a screen that says connecting and it jsut sits there as long as i like it to sit. I have no clue what the issue is and would like to resolve the problem.

Also for future reference this would be a slightly more technical question if you were having problems connecting to GW.
