Can you get legendary survivor by turning in a bunch of storybooks?

And yes i know this would take some time but i do not enjoy farming, kilroy etc. My internet is also unreliable. Turning in books would gaurentee the title as long as i fill them right?

Yes you can.

Btw a nice place to farm for survival is killing the boreal station wurns, they don't move, easy to kill in HM and only attack in melee range, if you are VERY worried just don't kill the wurns that are are close to the pinnesouls after the bridge.

You can get LS in a weekend with a serious farm session, I got in a week with 1~2 hours of farm daily.

Are there any threads where people have calculated the speed of different methods? For example, the difference in speeds between wurms and vaettirs. Or does anyone have a rough comparison?

Another tip would be to go on an elite skill capturing spree. I did that for 5 hours straight and got level 1 survivor from 0. It should help!

I got my Legendary Survivor by HM books I did 10 Young Hero of tryia, 1 Nightfalls HM, and 10 HM shiro Returns. I took roughly 2 months, but i did spend 3 weeks recovering from surgery where i could not play.

Also it was FUN!

One of my friends got Legendary Survivor with a combination of elite skill caps and books. Capped skills until he was at the amount of XP where the books would max out Survivor, and then turned them in.

Yes, you can.

Here's what I did:

Vaettir farmed ~400k xp BEFORE turning in the books. Then I turned the books in (~900k xp) = survivor

did mine in no time doing raptors. use exp scroll you can get 30k xp in less than 90 seconds

Or you can buy Kath Hammers and turn them in.

I personally farmed the worms outside Boreals with exp scrolls for L3 on 2 characters it was easy and relatively quick took under 24 hour in game time and also worked on chest, id, lucky/unlucky and sweet titles at the same time.

Of course beware of the pinesouls lost my first rit to them >.<

Did mine playing the game, killing mobs, doing quests and capping skills. Weird, right?

I got both my LSs doing exactly that. Saving the Elite skill capping for the double XP weekends. I'm working on my next LS doing Z-stuff (within reason) & WiK Bounties, in HM. But I'm more interested in getting WiK prezzies and Z-Coins than maxing LS again, so it's two birds with one stone.

As there's so many ways of getting survivor, best is simply to combine it with something you like better. If you work on Luxon/Kurzick titles, then by all means the books is a great means of doing your survival title as well. Working on Skill Hunter, Elite skills is a good way to go. Need Like farming? Then perhaps Vaettir is an alternative. Or if you're just a rich troll who wants the title yesterday, just buy hammers. Unstable internet connection? Wurms outside Boreal Station with spirits or ranged attacks. And then there's the purist way of doing it while just enjoying the game.

Personal recommendation.. do a bit of all or at least some variation. Perhaps a double exp skill cap weekend is coming up?

Got mine with a combination of books and saved quest rewards. I doubnt there are many survivor titles who got a significant boost from the HM titan quests
