If any of you read the CTRL+ALT+DEL webcomic, I'd be ethan, and Guild Wars would be my Everquest. Once I'm reminded of it, I HAVE TO PLAY IT. I've had two accounts, both which I've spent time getting full FOW on multipled characters and title/gold farming all day.
Well I have this unstoppable urge to go out and buy all the campaigns and start over AGAIN for the 3rd time. I'm trying to start a local business and this might get in the way.
Should I get it now, or wait for GW2, or just.. not? I havn't played for a year, so I'm not sure how the game has changed. Last time I played Dervishes were really, really OP and Underworld Assassin farming was getting pretty huge.
Should I start... Again?

If you're trying to start your own business, forget it. Starting up and running a small business will require a heavy investement of your time if you want it to be successfull.

Life > Games.
Your time is best spent winning at life than winning at Guild Wars =]
It sounds like you've had a good amount of time in GW and I reckon you're ready for GW2... so I say just wait until that comes out and you'll be able to play it at your leisure, as there's really no point in Guild Wars right now unless you want some intensive grinding for titles.

I'm wondering why you intend to start over from scratch. If it has indeed been a full year since you played, you may not know about the Hall of Monuments Reward Calculator. We now know which achievements will get what rewards in GW2. Check your two accounts and see if you're lacking in points. That could be a way to kill some time while waiting for GW2.
We also have new content in War in Kryta/Hearts of the North and Winds of Change. These features require characters that have finished campaigns.
Dervishes are incredibly OP now. I don't remember people thinking they were OMG!OP a year ago -- in fact, I think it was a year ago that people were wailing for a buff. They're much more powerful now. Enjoy it before the nerfs that keep rolling in kill the buzz.
Doing these things would allow you to get a GW goof-off fix without totally taking over your life and shoving your RL responsibilities to the side.

Well, I'd have to start from scratch because I only remember one of my character names from both accounts.. I dont know the email or anything, I probably dont even use that email anymore.

Honestly, its not worth it, just wait, yea you could get your HoM rewards, but really, how long are those going to last in gw2, a week or two?

You could try contacting support with "Lost Account Info" as the subject. If you are able to provide proofs of ownership, they can help you to log in. knowing a character name will help.
The email address you use as your account name does not have to be active.
If you don't want to do that, or are unable to get your account info back, I don't much see the point in starting all over again.
But it's a personal decision at that point.
