most populair class?

Hello everyone!
I was browsing the GW2 Guru and found a thread where a person had taken information from polls and made a pie chart to see which class/gender/race etc. was the most popular.
I started thinking and became very curious about which class in GW is the most populair.
So do anyone know if there is somekind of information released from Anet with information like this?

I have a feeling this thread is going to get shut down because it's an unknowable. ANet has not released this information to my knowledge, and really has no reason to.

It's hard to compare to the poll taken for GW2 because GW2 hasn't been released yet. So you're not dealing with a "most popular/most played profession" but a most anticipated profession/race. With GW, we have nothing to anticipate -- it's all available. After all this time, most people probably regularly play most professions. Some are suited slightly better to different tasks (solo farming, speed clears, etc.), while people have their personal favorites to enjoy the game with. There are also team compositions that work better than others in certain situations (considering also the role that heroes of different professions play). And then you have the ever evolving meta that goes with skill buffs and nerfs. There's always a new flavor of the moment.

Star_Jewel pretty much nailed it. If you really wanted to know you could probably start a poll or ask your guildies/alliance/friends/randoms in Kamadan.
