To ensure us that everything is going smoothly, some random person is here to ensure us that everything is going smoothly.
So wait, am I incorrect to say they didn't finalize the entire WoC saga?
Better yet, good to know someone came on to say hello, but unless we get actual definite answers about anything, thanks for coming and enjoy the spam from random sheep.

Hes standing on the edge on a hill inside the keep so no one can get to him.

I know a some people are annoyed by how he has downgraded the game ^^ but even if they were silly enough to want to hurt his char they can't....or can they?
Good for him for popping in

Y'know, it'd be nice if I actually got to see a celebrity like that in the game... unfortunately, the already low odds that they'd go in "officially" and not incognito on their real characters are made even lower since I'm Euro and they're US...
Anyway, John Stumme has nothing to fear from me. He does an adequate job - considering his resources, the product is good enough to satisfy me. So, i'd neither want to tear his head off OR drool on his feet

I love how some people are bashing him on these forums.
John Stumme alone did more, and better, what the previous people in charge did in the past 5 years. Obviously it's too little too late, but that's not something he can change. The PvE market crashed a long time ago (and nothing can change that) and PvP is beyond saving (most players have moved on, the ones that didn't haven't got much influencial power to actually do anything).
Atleast John realizes the final option is to squeeze every single bit of fun out of GW, and he's done an amazing (Obviously minor nitpicks for improvement) so far. He's also actually the first guy to take in advice from the community, or have we all forgotten how the new WoC foes, for the first time in GW history, actually have intelligent bars?
Or what about the dervish update? Did they not, succesfully, introduce an intire new class into GW without completely breaking it? Last time I checked they did, under his guard. Sure, the balance was far from perfect -Mainly cuz I'm not in the TK
- but it's not like people were running 8 derv teams. (Though I tried with reasonable succes)
TL;DR:
There's no point blaming John for shitty management the 5 years prior to his arrival. He's done a way better job so far, and actually listens to/reads the forums. If he's the guy that's going to lead us into GW2, we should be more than glad it's him.

For those people that liket to meet GM's there is a big possibility that some of them will show up during pink day in LA, obviously i can't make any promisses but from what i recall they showed up last year, and the year b4 and quite possibly the year before that ...
... if not for the GM's then show up for the fun event or for the fundraiser for BreastCancer Research, which ever floats your boat ...

Or is he just showing up instead of the real CMs because he and them aren't talking enough that the CMs know everything about what's being developed in the game right now?
I guess it's kinda cool that he showed up and stuff. Hopefully, we'll see more of that in the future.
