In other words, my "cheapshot from hell" SF capper build for JQ just got retired.
I just want to point out, when I started playing the game heavily in late 2006; assassins, mesmers, and ritualists were the GODS of PvP, and you couldn't pay to get yourself added to a team if you had one in PvE.
Now 5 years later, they are the GODS of PvE, and they suck in PvP.
If they stick to this formula, my paragon will be an ultra PvP badarse in another year.

They were one of the strongest profs before their buff, and only got stronger since then. About the other two, I have no idea; you may be right.Horace Slughorn

Mesmers suck in pvp? Mesmers suck in pvp? Mesmers suck in pvp?

I don't know what you're smoking. How many 3 Derv teams have you seen? Now compare that to the number of 3 Mesmer teams you have seen. Yeah, Mesmer definitely needs a buff.

Wiki says it didn't deal damage if opponent was near a corpse before, only spirits counted. Of course, anyone putting it on their bar was probably carrying a spirit in their build 99% of the time and mostly ignored the corpse part.

Quoting Kunder reveals that he is probably just trolling since it would have been a horrible attempt at being sarcastic.

==> monks are overpowered.

I stand corrected, but they were even more powerful for a long time there. When interrupting and degen were god-like abilities in the old days.
----------
As I said, I stand corrected; however I feel while their overall power may be buffed, they were a more dominant force before powercreep in PvP.
However they are very dominant in many forms of PvP (not all)
