i just started and entered the arena on accident, how do i exit?!?!?!?

Which arena? Are you in an outpost or something else?

Press M, scroll to the Boat - Choose island

There are several arena's in starter area's.
1: you started in factions and are in the arena outpost ==> press M and then click on the monastery town icon to return to the main land.
2: you started in Nightfall and are in the arena outpost ==> press M and then click on the Kamadan town icon.
3: you started in prophecy's and your in the arena outpost ==> press M and then click on the Ascalon town icon.
4: you started in prophecy's and activated the quest from Sir Tydus. This means you are leaving this part of the game and there is no return. You have a few options.
a: delete your character and start over, to play longer in the tutorial part of the game.
b: your lvl 5 or higher, so you are high enough level to continue.
c: you less then lvl 5, you can still continue, but expect the next part of the game a lot harder (but still doable).
