Hi, I have done FoWSC as MT lots of times, and I understand everything except this trick done by experienced MTs:

How do you "jump" off the cliff after you kill the Forest Shard Wolf?

I have tried pulling the spider near the wall and then Deaths Charged on him, but still - no success. Is there a particular place where this "jumping" works?

I usually let Spirit Shepards kill me, so UA can res me down, but that is slowing the whole run for a bit...

Please, explain the trick!

You'll want to pull a spider close to the wall and then drag it in the direction of where the wailing lord is. Once it is about two aggro bubbles away from where the rock borer worms pop up (the ones closest to the wailing lord) you can shadow step down to the spider.
To shadow step anywhere you need to be able to walk to the location the shadow step would take you, without going outside of compass range of where you would cast the shadow step. If the whole path down from the cliff isn't in compass range, you can't shadow step down.

you need to pull the spider along the path towards the wailing lord for this to work, it can be seen in this video, some of the time (rarely) the spiders all spawn far away and you can't pull them (or the team has already killed them)

Thank you very much for the info!

So, I understand that there is no glitch where you can "teleport" down directly, the trick is finding the right place where "I could walk down", and use Deaths Charge there to save time.

Sort of. You can only dc down a ledge if you can see the walking path on your minimap
