What will you do with your wealth?

Hom Hom Hom HOm HOM Hom HOm... Till my eyes bleed. Oh, that, and armor. I've been buying lots of elite armor sets lately, because my storage is already full

I'm not amassing any wealth. I spend it all in skills and armors for my characters, and increasing titles while playing.

My HoM is already filled, so I don't any need to save.

My wealth stays with me, or ill use it all on random items you cant get anymore.

ill keep everything, im sure gw1 not gonna die right after gw2 release

This happened to me as well but it has spurred me on to getting back into gw

As for the question I doubt I will have very much but I expect I will spend it on kitting out my chars (I tend to focus on my main, Desecrated Flame, atm) in case gw2 flops (which I hope isn't the case!).

Thinking about this thread and topic I'm starting to wonder if ANet will shut down GW at any time while GW2 is live. I suppose it is likely, however, considering the fact that players can tie achievements from the first to the second... does it not make sense to keep this option available?

As far as my own portfolio... I have two titles to fill for a goal. I've been refusing to pay for them. After nearly six years on my account I would still claim that I haven't actually bought any titles and I'm looking at one of these last two as almost a necessity to do just that. Drunkard is what I speak of. This coming Halloween event will be the tipping point. If I don't get it by the end of this I will be pulling out ye ol' gold purse.

Whatever wealth remains when I reach my goal before and for GW2 will probably just sit there. Too bad there isn't a system for investing for interest.

Only 3 ecto and a little over 100k that's about it.
Ok I have alot of minies and weapons, but the minies are ded and I doubt I'll let go of the weapons, and I'm sure compared to others I still have little of that.
I might help a few friends and guildies with what little I do have sometime. Unless I find something to use those bits of wealth on :P

Anything useful I will keep, anything else will be used for paying for outstanding titles I'm grinding for.

After I have maxed pet category with presents my character gets, I have 29/30 of slots unlocked.

I have around 35K of gold and goal is to get Luxon Elite Armor.

I never understood why people 'keep wealth'. I perceive money as a means to achieve a goal, not a goal itself.
That said, after getting GWAMM i quickly got 50/50 (needed only 4 points when HoM calculator came out), then sponsored 80% of my fiancee's GWAMM & 50/50, and now we're working on our friend's GWAMM/HoM. After this is done, i'll probably use up all money on lockpicks - if i'm still around in Tyria until GW2 is released, that is.

I think people will continue to play and trade in GW1 even after GW2 is released. I also expect to see GW1-against-GW2 trades and vice versa, so having wealth in one or the other is always a plus.

What wealth? Ah I forgot this is a trading game for some....

Not going to do anything with my wealth and leave it in the storage. A few years from now I'll probably load GW one day and get a FoW armor for one of the characters that still doesn't have one. Can't do that if I don't have the needed materials can I?

I recently bought some Kurzick armour, finally getting a 15k set for my 6 year old Ranger. That finished off my resilience monument.. Will probably spend the rest on finishing off the skill hunter titles.

Well if you arent planning on playing gw1 anymore you might not care about the account getting banned for that. But if you have linked a gw2 account to it ithen I could imagine that getting banned too.

I'm going to use it as a catalyst to get my friends who have long since left GW to reward them in GW2. Buy them armor, weapons, etc. so that they can get points in their HoM.

already gave everything away -- won't be playing gw2 either, though
