Can see some avatars, but not others.

Anyone else notice some avatars are missing? I cannot see my own and animals, for example, but I can see expugs and so on and so forth. =(

I can see yours now so it looks like it's a problem on your end. I couldn't say anything for certain, but consider the following:

-Have any of those people been banned? People in the banned usergroup have avatars disabled.
-Have you changed/modified your browser in any way? Perhaps installed some kind of add on that blocks pictures?
-Do you think there is any possibility the pictures are being blocked by something between the Guru servers and your computer (which gets me thinking: have you tried looking on different computers?)

I was having the same problem the on monday--but it cleared itself up by tuesday---could just have been a slow server issue????

Probably slow servers, ive had the same problem going off and on for some days.

I was also having a problem with it the other day - my own and a few others wouldn't show up. I cleared my cache, did a forced reload, cleared the history, tried reuploading, uploaded a new one entirely, and nothing.

Now everything seems to be working, but it was definitely a server issue.

I have noticed that some avatars have vanished again and just say "_____'s avatar", though. Just started again earlier today (before the site was down for maintenance).

Something might have happened in our move yesterday. I have poked the appropriate people to look into it.

Ya i've noticed peoples av's keep vanishing at random times, all ok at the moment tho. ^.^
