I've been an off and on again contributor to gwg since around the time I joined and like a lot of other people who have maintained lists or helped the community in some way, I like the fancy name color. It makes me feel special.

Anyhow, something I've noticed however, is the contributor green text is very similar to the moderator green text and some people confuse green-text contributors for green-text mods, which is kind of bad. It would also squelch the urges some green-text contributors might have to actually tell people they are moderators here.

I might know the difference between the two, but there are a lot of people who don't and at times, pester contributors in game for help with stuff on the site, i.e 'Halp, I've been banned, what can you do for me?!', etc.

I am asking if contributors or moderators can have their own text color so that there is real diversity between the two.

Thanks!

Mods/smods have black text :O a different colour would be nice but in order to know what is what you would have to know which colour is which and I don't recall that noted anywhere.

The Green is a bit on the darker side, I can see the confusion on most monitors. If it were a lighter green it would be great.

(chrome shows as purple....) I tried on chrome and still saw everything else the way I mentioned previously ...with the exception of the admins....contribs are green, users are red, mods/smods are black......(I wont even try ie ....).

Sometimes it depends a lot on the type of screen, the angle you're looking at it, and how bright the environment is. Even though I know there's a colour difference and can see it clearly at my usual computer, I can still sometimes find it very hard to tell the difference. Consider that perhaps.

Nice shade of blue would do.

blue is harder to see (I could direct you to a site that uses it and I cant read parts).
Orange is good, brown is meh, but usable.....(personally I think users should be black, and mods red...but this stuff was that way long before I even thought about modding).

I made the green a little bit greener for Site Contributor. I hope that helps!
