I was tring to make level 20 as Micha by doing the quest Villiany of Galrath. I don't know how many groups I tried to do it with before the one that succeded, but it's tale must be told. We all were dieing while tring to fight the minituars and trolls at the base of the mount when our tanks decided to run it. One died, however Bad Eyedea a level 20 Warrior Ranger succeded in killing Galrath. We got the quest update and he died tring to take out the rest of Galrath's army. Everyone involved was stunned that it worked. I think Bad Eyedea should be known for his deads heance my writing here.

Running that quest is getting more and more popular.

All you have to do is get by the undead stuff, and then the trolls/minos/verata people.

Galrath himself and his followers are pushovers.

I've done it with hechies...did it with my Ranger when she was only level 16 in fact. Hard but doable. If you're going with level 20's, which I've done before too, it's a cakewalk. Or should be, as long as you've got some decent players with you. People sometimes forget that there are some pretty crappy Level 20's out there that still haven't figured out the game. "Aggro? What's that?"

But I'm glad you had a good experience and I think it's nice you wanted to recognize your teammate.

The only actually hard part about the mission is that last giant mob of various necros right before you get to the man himself (actually about 3 seperate mobs, totalling about 12-20 Minioners, plus a boss monster). Seems to me that most PUGs just charge the mob, start getting hurt bad, lose all cohesion, and die as a result. Careful pulling and planning, not to mention a decent build, will get you through the mission. Everything before and after that part is basic and a cakewalk, but that mass of necros will make the final victory mighty sweet indeed.

That quest is really easy, I never understood why people face difficulties. The only porblem I had with it was a few days ago when I did it for my monk character and Anet seems to have added the verata enemies which were never there, making it slightly harder because my team didn't know they're lvl 20's and aggroed them.

The toughest part of this quest, that I found, is the Verata enemies near Galrath. Mesmers, Necros and Rangers hanging out together. Getting past the undead, Minatours, Thorn Stalkers, etc. on the way was a walk in the park compared to these guys.

Whether you start from Bergen Hot Springs or the Temple of the Ages, the trek there is pretty long. And by the time you get to the Verata gangs, the goal is in sight and players are tired and just want to rush in to get the quest over and done with.

But with a little planning and pulling the Verata enemies away afew at a time, it can be quite easy. These guys are only difficult if you aggro them all and get mobbed by them all at once.

I've done this quest afew times now with a 2 man party (no henchies), both of us being level 20 though.

Monks can run that mission, too. Though admittably they are bit slower, unless you actually set up your skills to *run*.

I suggest Mo/R if you want to that, but Mo/Me if you plan on clearing the place. [incase Verata and his gang spawns]

to get enemy in radar to attack...like when you running as soon as they get in the radar.....you know...that's what aggro means

I don't know who you are to insult someone who can obviosly do more than you ever will.

*I apologize for any flaming, but it needed to be done. Someone felt superior because he doesn't use his eyes, and I have a severe problem with that*
